Agreed, I'll be with you in voting no on that subject.

This is an opportunity to open up a henchman space and potentially fix our mistake in not spending any renown on the past recruitment rolls

However!
-Brian has to actually defeat Dark Hand in combat
-We risk alienating Harvestman, who has a budding friendship with DarkHand
-What if we fail to defeat her?

With that in mind, I will be a tentative "No"

I don't think Brian would have too much issue incapacitating the Dark Hand, given his Mech Suit. But, given that it is incredibly difficult to get the drop on her, the likelihood of her being able to escape would be tremendous. That? That would be quite bad.

It's always an option though, especially if she tries to cross us. For now it's a solid no, but who knows what the future will bring.

My reasons already given so not much to say: No

I, like most else here, have to say no to killing dark hand. I'd rather not kill both of our henchmen right off the bat, especially when they can escape and or kill Brian.

I say No to killing Dark hand, since it'll probably be easier to find a test subject elsewhere that doesn't know who we are.

Actually, I just had a thought...we could secretly look for another member of the psychic program who has powers and throw them in the machine. Of course, such a thing would have to be quiet, but any meta humans with psychic powers being nabbed could possibly be used like Dark Hand would be if we voted yes instead of the superior option of no.

I'm a fan of this idea, but that would take another action and I think it would be better to wait until we've finished the Cerebral Enhancer and Sentient Computers research, and the Dark Klaw mission before we attempt it, when we'll be smarter, our minions stronger, and the Council of Villains as a whole better prepared to take on any rogue psychics.

Dark Klaw is pointless now that we know the experience in their hand didn't hurt her so much.

Operation Beatrix was the revenge mission for both our minions, the Dark Klaw is only about avenging the Harvestman, and it's a great excuse to get them some XP and foster loyalty in our ranks.

Dark Klaw is on Dark Hand

Right, I had them backwards, and apparently have an intellect on par with a door knob. Sorry about that, my mistake.

Yeah I agree with that, we should focus on what we have at the moment and finish it before going after any other psions. But still, it would be useful in the future....Unless the one psychic we capture is already being hunted...

I'm going for a solid Yes. To be honest, there's no real downside to this. Dark Hand is swapped for the A.I, which will now have telepathic abilities, *and* doesn't use a council slot. So...

Yeah there is no downside...unless you consider the possibility of their escape a downside...or Harvestman hating us for this and possibly defecting...but those aren't downsides definitely.

In all seriousness, there is plenty of downside to this when we can probably do something to search for a suitable candidate without killing our current henchmen, and when I say current henchmen, I mean both of them.
