Good afternoon Dwarves and Dwarfettes
Sorry the update is a day late, real life got in the way
In any case, lets get right to it!
Hiya Friends! The past 5 years have been great! I've only lost most of my friends to Titans and elves
And all the bunnies are gone, again by titans and elves, oh but don't you worry, we'll get them back one way or another....
Honestly, the top of my to-do list for the past 5 years has been to finally break into the cavern layers and see which new weird creepy crawlies this new world has to offer. Finding it will be easier said then done though.
Our military is looking pretty ripped, credit where it's due, there are a few holes in it though, those have been filled with new recruits.
Our clothing situation is likewise filled with literal holes, i submit my own as evidence:
Time to get to work making clothes, thankfully, me spearheading our farming has given us... like... 400 Pig tail cloth to work with, i'm sure we can outfit the fortress with that.
Unfortunatly, the dwarf, zulban in the midst of a strange mood could not be saved, for some reason puppy bones were not the golden cure to his ailment. Speaking of which, we have tons and tons of puppies, but unfortunatly they were not born bunnies so they are worthless to me, into the furnace they go!
And if today wasn't eventful enough, we finally found a cave:
all this new moss is making me feel tingly, i wonder how it feels... and on a less important note, i wonder if this new "beardwood" tree makes good charcoal.
On an equally unimportant note:
The sword that killed the bronze collossus, big deal amirite?
Although i do agree our military needs some more big names, I've created a new squad, named the Axington Stanleys, lead by an axdorf named "weasel". There's only 3 members right now but hopefully they'll be a fighting force to be rockoned with! Once they learn how an axe works that is.
We also got some migrants, not like we need more though, after this month, i'm putting a cap on our migrants, i don't want this fort
getting laggy getting too crowded.
On top of that, we have a lack of bedrooms, time to chisel some out i guess.
And to finally leave spring behind us, we're branching out across theunderground lakes to new frontiers...
To be Continued... Tomorrow probably....
