Explain to the cultist that we are working for Nyarlhotep and that he's the one who sent us here

Look, we're not your enemy. I just woke up here after the weirdest dream. This man who claimed to have ruled egypt told me that a yellow king was going to awaken a sleeping god, and that the world was going to end. I don't know what's happening, or where I am, or who you are.
Try to calm her down.

Spoiler: Hastur (click to show/hide)
(no future problems could possibly result from that misunderstanding.)

Well, at the very least I was going to have to find a way to get my soul back. Mabie having Hastur somewhat upset at Nyarlathotep might help with that.

Turn 7: A Fishy Situation.

I'm sure the others won't mind if I step out for a while. I mean there can't be anything too interesting going on inside right now.

Antioch decides to take a brisk stroll to invigorate the spirit.

[6] - You walk thorugh the streets of the old city, thinking about your current situation and the god in the center of the universe.

You have the feeling someone is following you, so you quickly turn away. You don't find anyone, but you find something. In front of you, there is an abandoned chapel. One of the historical buildings and legacy of the old times.

You continue feeling observed.

Look, we're not your enemy. I just woke up here after the weirdest dream. This man who claimed to have ruled egypt told me that a yellow king was going to awaken a sleeping god, and that the world was going to end. I don't know what's happening, or where I am, or who you are.
Try to calm her down. Use my skill at predicting how people will react to not talk about things she won't like.

[5] - You somehow manage to calm her down enough for her to listen to your story.

"A yellow king and a sleeping god? You must mean the half-brothers Cthulhu and Hastur, right? I heard there was a hidden underground cult to Cthulhu in the sewers and Nyarlathotep sent me here to investigate. You must be his new servants, am I right?"

"Woah miss, easy with the sharp objects! I'm currently about as confused as you are, but I was hoping you'd be able to help. Just, put the knife away and let me explain..."
try to convince the hooded person holding me hostage to let me the hell go. If she does, explain what I know about the the reason I am here.

[3] - "...Sure. But if you ever try to interrupt my dreams again, I will end you."

She removes her knife from your neck and lets you go. For now.

”I am having ze looking around and ze rummaging, to be finding ze useful items. How am I going to be helping my comrades if I do not have weapon? Look at body, it is not of the greatest of ze physical conditions. I am but mere candy store owner. I am sure comrades can be taking care of their selves.”

Look about for anything that might constitute as a weapon. A broken bottle, a board with a nail in it, anything.

[6] - You find an old revolver!

*click*

It's out of bullets...

Try to calm down a bit for headache and spinning  to stop. If successful, give book a second try.

[5] - You successfully relax and the pain quickly fades away. Now that you have a clear head, you go downstairs to the living room searching for Ryan and their old book.

You find Mallo, Ryan and a cultist wielding a knife in the living room. Ryan is currently too busy with talking to the cultist to lend you the book.

Explain to the cultist that we are working for Nyarlhotep and that he's the one who sent us here

[5] - You decide to explain the woman everything that Nyarlathotep said in your dream. You don't tell her that the universe is ending, though, as she doesn't seem to know anything about that.

"I see... So, I guess Nyarlathotep actually listened to my prayers..."

"See, the local cult has been kidnapping scholars and investigators from this area for some reason, and I requested Nyarlathotep to send help. If you didn't notice, I live here."

"With you and your companions here, we might be able to take them down. I suspect the entrance to their headquarters might be hidden in one of the old buildings, and they might be taking advantage of the old sewer system to use as their dungeon. What I want to do is sneak inside, free the students and interrupt whatever they are planning to do. With that many human sacrifices, they are definitely planning something big."

"Will your group help me ruin the day to these fish worshippers?"

(Sorry for late turn, I was busy with stuff.)

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

Fish worshippers? I thought the god of the sea was Dagon. Cthulhu just lives in a sunken city, right?

This seems like the kind of thing one brings backup for.

Return to the safehouse, tell them I found a chapel with eldritch feelings.

"Tell that to his cultists. They insist on using sea water and dead fish in their rituals just because his rotting corpse is under the sea. The smell that comes from the sewers is absolutely disusting."

Rummage around for more weapons, or bullets. Ignore everybody else in this search.

"I could sneak in, and scout ahead for you. I have a certain unexpected relationship with the shadows, so I probably won't be seen if you send me in ahead. I can try to warn you of what they have in the way of defences or guards."
ask fo the location of the hideout, if known. Go scout the sewers even if they don't know much more. I'll figure a way to contact them after I get a look at what we're up against.

Turn 8: It's Always Cultists.

(I wanted to recall everything I knew about Cuthulu. Sorry that wasn't clear)
Search for a weapon of some kind.

[5] - You find a sword, somehow. Hastur is quite pleased with this turn of events.

This seems like the kind of thing one brings backup for.

Return to the safehouse, tell them I found a chapel with eldritch feelings.

[1] - You start walking back, but the presence just get closer and closer. You decide to make a run for it and try to rush back to the house, but whatever is hunting you notices that you are trying to escape and quickly reaches you.

The unknown thing quickly attacks you from behind with massive blunt force and you fall to the ground. Before you fall unconscious from the pain, you manage to see the monster that was hunting you. It is holding some sort of rock slab with one hand as he drag you with his other, and a set of green robes cover it's whole body. As it drags you to it's lair, you pass out.

(You can try either waking up or having a dream.)

Russell tries to find some gun( and tries to be lucky in his search )

[3] - You find some bullets, but no gun. Maybe you can try using finger guns and wish that you get lucky enough to shoot bullets with your hands.

”Look friend, now I am having gun! Now I just need to be finding boolet and then we can be helping ze others.”

Rummage around for more weapons, or bullets. Ignore everybody else in this search.

[6] - You find Rusell with some bullets in his hands. Score!

[3] - "I don't exactly know where the entrance is, but we could search for it. It's must be in an old building, as it's located in the old sewers. The problem is that you will find an old building in every single corner."

You decide to go find the sewers with Ryan, but don't manage to find anything yourself.

But then, Ryan notices something strange and decides to follow it. When you catch up, you see him staring to an old building. You notice it's an abandoned chapel.

"I'll head out with Mallo. We should have at least two people scouting out the place"

Go scout the sewers with Mallo

[5] - While you are scouting with Mallo, you find some recent bloodstains in the ground that lead somewhere. You decide to follow them.

The small bloodstains lead you to some ancient chapel. The blood trail continues to somewhere behind it and you have a sense of dread when close to the building.

(The luck power won't trigger unless is specifically a luck roll. A search roll is a search roll.)
(Edited to include retroactive action.)
