"I've already sold my soul in the interests of protecting my own existence thank you very much, I would very much like to avoid becoming puppet to more than one puppetmaster. Keep whatever the hell it was you were looking at hidden on your person and whatever the hell that yellow king is to your heads only."

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

I believe that it has not "gone global as a cognitohazard", as you so painfully put it, because other equally or perhaps more powerful forces have been fighting against it. In fact, if either of you would like to get away from Hastur's influence, we might theoretically be able to perform a ritual to purge it and destroy the tokens.

Antioch then approaches Ryan again: Would you mind letting me have a leaf through that book you found?

"Sure, I don't think it'll be of much use to you though, unless you can read Latin"

Give Antioch the book

"Is anybody else confused as to what the hell is going on here? We all ended up at a strange party, then a dude comes out spouting a whole bunch of weird stuff about gods, has us sign our names into a book using our blood, knocks us out, then dumps us all in who knows where for some mission. It's just all so insane."

"I don't know about you guys but I don't trust this at all. I'm going to try to figure out where we are"

Look out the window and see if I can figure out where we are

"Hey guys, turns out that Hastur was being deceived by some other god/thing/whatever, and didn't know that he was waking the sleeping god. The fragment of his consciousness currently embedded in my mind has promised to help, but I don't know whether that means that the whole of Hastur is going to command the cults to stop spreading. Probably not, I've studied psychology, and even if Hasur wanted to stop them, short of actually manifesting, I doubt all of the cults would stop."

I'm a psychologist, and I can tell you that a "Split Personality" can't actually exist. It's actually just a misinterpreted form of bipolar disorder.

Turn 5: Yellow is the New Black

"well, there goes my soul. Ugh, that is an unpleasant sensation.. Hey Ryan, I was reading that book you got. You mind sharing it, and doing some research on it together when we get a chance?"
Start trying to figure out where we are. It won't do for me to be lost.

[4] - You explore the place and discover that you are inside of an ancient mansion. There are some webs and dust, but it looks as if someone cleaned it at least once during this month.

Ow. That hurt a lot. Does anyone else have anything?

Mallo, I think the only reason that happened is that this Yellow King has chosen us. If you want to test that you could give it a look, as he didn't choose you.

Look around warily.

[5] - You manage to find the living room. You find a scrawny person wearing black robes sleeping on a sofa and a newspaper on the ground.

[4] - You lend your tome to Antioch and decide to look through one of the windows.
Hey, you kind of recognize this place. You are quite certain you are currently in one of the older districts of Arkham.

Antioch attempts to read the Book of Eibon.

[5] - You find the book quite interesting. You have a lot of trouble reading it, but you manage to figure out some concepts:

Zhothaqquah: Some sort of divine toad figure
Shaggai: Sky land filled with various insects.
Hyperborea: Frozen land you predict that might have been the current Arctic.

That's everything you could translate with your limited knowledge. To learn more, you need a way to propely translate it.

Gentlemen, I can always help with latin,
ancient greek and egyptian, after all Miscatonic university grants good classical education.

also examine strange coin, try to be lucky during it .

[5+1] - You are certain these are the currency eldritch beings use for their material transactions. You could use those coins to buy goods and services from those that have knowledge of their real value.

”I am not trusting voice in head. Just because voice says zit is god does not mean it is. I am requiring zen additional proof before I am not thinking this is the latent schizophrenia.”

Rummage about. Where are we?

[3] - You search the old house for useful things. Other than a couple of backpacks, you don't find anything remarkable.

(Small turn, will update sheets later.)

Try to figure out how the man? would react to being approached. If he would react violently/in a way harmful to myself, do not approach. If not, approach respectfully.

Arkham? It certainly exists. I go to school there. That is, here.

In fact, if we get time, we should stop by the campus. I'm pretty sure we can get this—
waving the Ivonis —translated there. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the library already has a copy.
