By a narrow margin of three votes, it is settled. Qzcvyzc, Arch-Demon of Gluttony, shall be our protagonist! I'm honestly somewhat relieved, because I don't trust my literary talent enough to portray a Demon of wanting to be loved as fundamentally wrong and disturbing, but I'll have an easy time of it with gluttony and the endless urge to consume. Hopefully, I'll be able to post the first update sometime later tonight.

Man, wanting to be loved is easy to make fundamentally disturbing, and is probably the most standard of all designs.  Still, nothing wrong with it, as it would have just been going with the classics.

EDIT FOR CLARITY: for those of you who know no Warhammer lore, Nurgle is the chaos god of decay, associated with disease... and he loves everyone, no matter how terrible they are. He even loves diseases, because he loves bacteria and viruses too.

Nurgle isn’t quite wanting to be loved though, he gives endless love in a horrific fashion but wants for nothing. A demon of wanting to be loved would be a wretched thing full of bile and spite, spiritually emaciated and fidgety, a creature that yearns endlessly for everything and everyone it cannot have and simultaneously hates them for not belonging to it, for it doesn’t understand the difference between love and want. It never gives in its bargains, it only takes, and it is a jealous entity, with only demons of Pride wanting to be worshiped more - Pride desires it because they see it as their rightful due, but Envy desires it because that crawling, gnawing, grasping desire is all they have. It’s not even greed, though, it’s something lesser, more base, the sense that it is lesser than another being and that painful yearning to take all that others have and it does not. Not because it wants those things, but because others have them and it both hates and desires them for that.

Envy’s plenty horrific if you play it right, it’s just more of a mental hunger than a physical one.
