I can say without exaggeration, it is the single greatest RTS ever made.  Seriously, it puts Starcraft to shame.  If anyone would like to join a team for some practice sessions (and eventually having fun in pubs), just drop me a line.

Chicago (me) is GMT-6.  I would like to get everyone together Saturday morning (maybe early afternoon), 0900-1030, which in Central Europe would be 1600-1730.  I'm still trying to find enough people, so probably won't happen today, but we might be able to play some practice matches next week.

I have a physical copy somewhere but I'm not sure my laptop can run it without struggling. I wasn't that good in supcom either, but its been a few years.

If I can find it and run it on my laptop then I might join in. If not then it will take longer before I can even try. Other than that i'm in the UK timezone wise but also don't typically have anything planned on Saturdays.

Have the game on Steam, only ever played against the AI, can't really play now thanks to my machine being a somewhat shriveled lemon with a metallic paint job. Also no sound output anymore, thanks to the severed end of a headphone jack that is now permanently superglued into the port.

Watched a fair few high-ish level matches though, mostly team games. Makes me a little sad that the air game is effectively just "Aeon ASF blob", but I guess that's just the nature of these things. Always liked Cybrans. Never any good with them, mind, but always liked them.

It's mostly to do with Aeon actually having T2 interceptors, not because their ASF are inherently superior. I think the cybran one is considered top of the pack since it's got stealth, which can tilt certain engagements heavily into it's favor.
