WDR

The Wacky Death Race is an old game on this forum ,that I ran before. The idea is simple. People build their vehicles, then have a death race along a predefined track. Along the way, you can cheat, blow up each other up, scavenge for food and materials, and much more.

The map is 120 tiles long.  Players should be able to have an average speed of about 4 tiles per turn, resulting in a game with a length of roughly 30 turns, similar to the length of the original turn.

The Game is divided into 2 stages: a building stage and a Racing stage: There will be several building turns during which you'll build your vehicle. There are 5 rolls during each building turn. The rolls determine how successful you are at building that part. The last turn is different with the rolls then defined undo any previous unevenness in the rolls.

1. Vehicle : Base , Engine,  Cargo , Crew , Fuel
               Base : The basic shape and ability of your vehicle. Usually lends some ability or another
               Engine : Your engine power. Does you vehicle go fast but unreliable, or slow and steady
               Cargo : How much ammunition and repairs do you get to store
               Crew : Your crew, who affect scavenging and some weapon actions
               Fuel : You're not going to get far without it
2. Weaponry & Defenses :  Weapons and defenses
              Here, you get to divide 5 slots over weaponry and defenses.
3. Specials : Track modifications, Favors, Sabotage,
              Here, you get to divide 5 slots over various miscellenous boosts.
4. Balance : A number of rolls required to balance things

There are only 2 rolls during each race turn, these can be:
-Firing weapons
-Making emergency repairs
-Searching for supplies
-Racing(only one of these allowed per turn)

Special objects on the racing track:
-Checkpoint: Stopping here is obligatory. Requires one action to clear
-Checkpoint with repair/maintenance stand: You need to wait here one turn. That turn counts as a building turn (Mid race modifications YAY)
-Shoppe: Stopping here is not obligatory, but this place sells interesting stuff. And supplies. Buying counts as an action.
-Shortcut: Shortens travel time. Gathering food and supplies not allowed during shortcuts. Weapons can only be used on people using the same shortcut.
-Obstacle: Requires one turn OR a roll to pass(this is not one of your two daily actions). Bad rolls will result in damage.
