Well I've put 4-5 full days "modding" [simple changes, but lots of files] and integrating mods to make my own modpack, so I can say its pretty fun and engaging.
There's still some rough edges, but takes a good while to bump into a bug. They are also hiring/implementing some sort of QA process so it seems that its getting less buggier.
I've been reporting bugs and issues and one of my reports was fixed in a day and released on the minor patch that was released on the next. So I'm all okay.
Graphs not working I dunno,
you can check mine here.. If you were on a MP server, might have been because the server admin disable the graphs [aka stat-tracking] because it's a common workaround for db issues (that causes instabilities and kicks/disconnects or crash loops), although my server has been running for around 3 days with plenty of mods and some people trying to break it purposefully and no issues.
What I do agree is that the needs more content. They said they plan on adding more content every 2 weeks.
After 3 good runs I'm pretty sure one will have seen what there is to be seen. But I'm 250h+ in (played 2 full playthroughs and 2 halfway through it) and I still have fun.
Of course, a lot of that is probably due to me being interested in taking part of the development very closely, even reading the source code so maybe one day I can make my own decent mods or even features/fixes.
Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try for those who like Minecraft / Wurm or even DF, given that I'm pretty sure they based the way population pools work from DF.
