If you'd like to step into our windowless van here, we've got a vampire situation in some midwestern town. Strictly small fry, you'll be fine. Weaponry and equipment will be procure on site. With that, you're shuffled into a van. Doot doo doo. Upon getting out ( and the van speedily driving away ) you take in what appears to be a town ripped from the 1950s. It's midday, there's hardly traffic coming in or out. People are strolling about, wearing caps and holding mother$%#@ing parasols. Everybody looks...happy.

Obvious observations: It's midday, there are few people around, those who are around all brought shade.

I doubt the local grocer carries garlic, if you catch my drift.

Look around and try to see if you can find any thing suspicious.

You take your first steps into the town proper, your head swivelling slowly from side to side, your eyes narrowing as you attempt to discern ANYTHING of note. It's just too much to take in, though, and eventually you give up, your head lowering. Hopefully nobody saw you look all investigative and snooping.

Yeah, you're not getting any ready made supplies. Procure on site means you're gonna have to improv your own.

Still, looking for supplies isn't a bad idea. You see a general store on the corner, as well as a hardware store down the street. You have no idea what stock they have, and you certainly don't have any money, but maybe you can find some other arrangement.

Deciding to head into the grocer, you take a look at their garlic selection. A few garlands here and there, bit pricey ( again, no money on your person yet ). You decide to chat up the cashier, a rather baked looking young fellow with a frighteningly bad bowl cut.
