Is there 1000 people in the kingdom for each player, or in the town instead? That might make the tiwn a bit big for our porpoises.

At this point they're mostly independent families and Hermits living in the countryside with only a small established town.

I want to remake the guard Guild thread into the merchant thread. Would you be alright taking on the responsibility of the guard guild thread for now?
...
Sure. I plan to make the town/local region map tomorrow, I might convene with thy Game Master regarding some of the geographical points, as well as one or two other things.

Merchant's guild is up.

Join a guild and you're in!

If you've actually made threads in these other forums, I think the OP should include links for diplomatic purposes.
Actually, it's a shame BBcode probably can't do image maps. (ie, images with embedded links)
There is not much there yet, so not much to see. Otherwise, done. Map in op works now.

Thanks for stepping up.

I nominate myself as Merchant guildmaster... when we have 3 there...

So if there is only one street at the moment, shouldn't the population be 100 per player?

What role is completely lacking? because I quite like the idea of joining and playing a bit, regularly. I like the idea of slowly building something up and making landmarks and items and cool stuff.

Why not join all the guilds with polls that interest you.. You can then leave ones you decide do not interest you later.. No penalty.

Items and landmarks would be merchants and guards.

Either(or both..) need ppl. Welcome to Marga!

Poll Results

Marga is the Kingdom name! A king can have a revote later, though this shall be the default one.

Adjilia and Whitsweal tied for region name, so they both win! There will be several(more than 3) regions on the continent, and there is room for both. Which one will contain the kingdom will be decided, later.

Axewrath and Formeorth tied for continent name. These will go into a pool for all 3 forums to vote on when the time comes.

Spoiler: results (click to show/hide)

Looks like I have a little more time so I'll start the new poll. So you guys like dolphins huh? Should that be the Marga village mascot? I think it suits the porpoise!

Ballot #2...

What should be the Marga mascot?

As acting steward for the thrown, I will now grant all guilds a starting deposit and an allowance. All guilds will get 20 gold, and 1 gold a day. Income may rise based on these factors:

Quality(game enhancing-ness) of services and structure provided.
Cooperation and synergy with other guilds.
Fairness and efficiency of internal politics, promotion, and recruitment.
Aiding the wealth of the throne.

in addition to this income, guilds are encouraged to create tasks and services the guild members can perform and charge the public a fee.

Does that minus indicate the throne is in debt?

Is there anyone in control of the throne right now, or is that debt being managed by you as an NPC?

Funny question. I can be kind of monotone but I am actually a human.

I hold the position as 'Steward Monarch'. Acting like any steward I do not have the authority(extra voting power), but I do perform all the same duties for now. I also have rapidly fading GM powers, kind of like a yolk of an egg but I'm happy to say it's thanks to all of you that's dissolving very quickly and that traditional forum game role will soon evaporate.

We may likely need to get more people to fill out the other guilds, though.
