I want to ask, what do you think the basic member of a guild should be called? Currently I have it as Disciple. This is not a official ballot kind of more of a casual "putting it out there" kind of thing. What do you think?

If something else preferably one word.

Keep in mind that some long-running players may never go beyond this rank. Also sometimes people that were once high-ranked may retire and become this again. Currently I feel like Disciple almost sounds derogatory or like calling someone a student. Some may be very veteran players.

I feel like it should be up to the guild. Like, for the guards it might make sense to call them Regulars, for Inventors they might be Tinkerers, etc.

That, and I'm sorry I didn't make this more clear, is already the case. We're talking about what that rank of nobility can be called as a general term.

Nobility is a broader form of promotion than the one you receive in your guild. These are things like the basic guild member, the guildmaster, the king these broader categories.

Edit: Right now I am really feeling Companion.
...other ideas still welcome.

Why not just call them citizens?

It seems almost needless to say, but of course the mysterious mage wears a mysterious night-blue hooded robe!

They are the next tier. They are 1 in 1000 literally. They are guild members.

Going to move Housing from Guards to Inventors for now.

These two guilds will need to work closely.

Balancing Crime and Security.

Addit: However...
Inventors will focus on the Interior of Housing, and guards will be specifically tasked with Kingdom Layout.

Mini Update on the status of the kingdom.

This post is in no way a complaint, and I am in no way concerned about the quiet week we've had. I've been busy and I have been the leader and I am one within the context of by the game.

However the premise of the game is that we are all the GM, and if the game does not function because any one person is inactive then it is not yet there yet. You could call it a test. If ever you are feeling like you are 'waiting for things to happen' remember that this game is alive, always.

Lords, if the King neglects to start the election, you may do this.
Guildmasters, always have some poll open, and put feedback into practice. Make goals and milestones.
Guards, it is at your discretion when to update the day/night cycle, I've given plenty of examples at this point.

And Guild Masters remember that when you have the permissions from other guilds to go ahead with some kind of new game element you have the total of authority not me as the king to go ahead and introduce it into the game.

Every other forum game you've played unless you were the host you were in a responsive roll. When it was your turn you play the game again. Well it is always your turn. Here.

*Trumpets*

Announcements from the King.

Where to begin!?

Today we celebrate several massive accomplishments for Marga. Now to be referred to as Fort Marga!

We now proudly raise our new flag in honor of the cute Fluffy Wamblers that make our days so bright.

Yes, while they started as pets, in the past few weeks they are already a feature of the rolling plains of this good land.

We now welcome the Dwarves as permanent residents, who have decided to stay with us. If you were a dwarf before this migration, just let us know here.

Yes, guild membership is open to both humans and dwarves.

There will be an election soon(March 28~30). If you are interested in becoming a Guildmaster, Lord, or King, please announce it before that time.

...am I currently a Lord, or just a temporary Lord until we elect one?

If the latter, I'm running for Lordship.

You are a lord.

If anyone runs for a held office, the current holder will be put on the ballot too.

If you would like to run for King, I will run for a lord.

It may be high time I take up more the role of Bishop, overseer of three realms.
