~~Cycle 1 Sub-Cycle 9~~

By the end of the month after the incident, things have "stabilized" nicely. As wreckage teams and internal medical staff pour over the disaster area that was an extended gunfight and a successful mission. in a surprisingly efficient manner, the cybernetics lab project was ruthlessly and cleanly cleaned of all high-value equipment after internal investigations had looked over the crime scene, and all the test subjects either re-assigned to a different post or put down. Mages from all around are brought in, and the black-site becomes very busy as they begin assensing the area to figure out what the hell just happened to cause your Avatar. So far they came empty-handed. Barely. There were a couple close calls.

The Head of Security himself is a proponent of some extreme security measures that may very well endanger your operations, but without a valid method of putting him down that is not overt, you are forced to let him live. You sometimes play petty tricks on him just for spite.

Surprisingly, one of the bots on the inside of the Diable Avionics building has managed to pick up data on an incoming Avionics convoy leading to one of their launch sites. It's possible that you could hire a running team to acquire both its valuable materials and the main-frame that it is hauling as a serious piece of computer hardware.

A. Contact the Erasure Team with an offer.
B. Put out a Run-Job over the Taboo Network as well as a Johnson on the original and as of yet unnamed Merc-Network.
C. Disseminate the information freely to all who may be interested to gain, on the down low.
D. Perhaps it would not be wise to act on this information.

Apologies for the lack of updates for these trying times.

It was a simple deal. Although you didn't get the group of murderous thugs that stormed the facility, you got a nicely group from the same organization (They are too busy going on the down-low.) who would break the convoy, steal the truck that is hauling the main-frame, and then drive it to a secretive place where it will be immediately disassembled and the main-frame moved into the Taboos holdings.

Once the timeline was struck, the mercenary team began to do their own thing. You didn't have much interaction besides simplistic contact information and associated data that they had requested. They never found out about the true reason why you needed the mainframe, and no less than 86 hours later, the convoy was struck with nothing less than three separate rocket-propelled grenades. After the rain of wreckage was over, a toothless hobo-looking person personally slew several convoy members before single-handedly getting shot by some passing by citizen. Assisting forces on the mercenary team pushed into the convoy, and the rest of the squad managed to save the life of the downed personnel and successfully hijack the armored freighter in question.

From there, it seems their pilot, (the homeless looking person was, in fact, the team's get-away driver as well.) managed to pilot the lumbering craft through oncoming traffic and then into a twisted city ruin, abandoned long ago. After literal hours of presence which ended in three separate gang-on-corporate wars, the team managed to hide in between two wrecked buildings for twenty-four hours.

Once the heat was off the freight-car, the truck moved to the designated drop off point and then was quickly and efficiently dis-assembled, the serial numbers of each part filed off and all its cargo removed, cataloged and then cycled into the black market or into your personal holdings. The hired-help themselves stuck around nearby the facility; It was part of the Iron-Brotherhood, and they are lending their services in return for a couple of favors.

The mercenaries are demanding their payment.

A. Pay them well, with a little bit extra for their troubles.
B. Give them the original agreed-upon sum.
C. Burn them, they are deniable assets after all.
D. It's convenient that the Diable corporation quickly and efficiently managed to acquire their information and hunted them down while you stone-walled them.

It was only after a bit of half-hearted haggling did the few seem to really go off into overestimating their worth. after a heated debate on what they had originally intended to be paid followed by them shooting out the intercom you were speaking with, you promptly paid one of them and texted one of their phones to "not do that again please". They were pretty spooked after that point.

The Mainframe itself is both too hot and too big to be properly fitted into your center-node, but you estimate by the end of the next year, you'll be able to do hook it up as a peripheral node or perhaps something more. Work has already begun.

~~Cycle 1 Sub-Cycle 10~~

A nuclear weapon has just detonated on one of the other continents.

There are six seperate continents, the one your on would be equivalent ot the size of a fictional continent called “Africa”, while three others would be the size of “Australia”, and finally, one about half the size of “Eurasia”.

Each of these continents are referred to as Turi-pines, Eulora, Balherk,  Turiel, Qerr-Vallis, and Yutius respectively. Yutius is in the middle of  severe civil war, and it appears that they just detonated a nuclear weapon on their own soil. The rest of the world has went into high alert, and most corporations in the local area have went into what essentially amounts to lock down.

Looting is prevalent as is expected. most of the locals think a nuclear war will occur shortly, even though that is very unlikely to occur.

A.Capitalize on the chaos and commit the Taboo to digital theft.
B.Focus on guarding the assets.
C.Maybe it's time for direct intervention, some facilities may be data mined while they are off balance.
