"Somehow, Bernie, I do believe that my ears were the one hole on my head to not bleed profusely. Maybe it was your luck rubbing off on me, making sure I will continue to be fortunate enough to hear you play that violin so sweetly."

Alex blanches and shakes his head weakly, ignoring how doing so makes spots flutter in front of his eyes. "I deeply apologize, that was crass and forwards even for me. The seeing into the pure truth of the universe must have 'knocked my block off' more than I thought. In that case the Dethlac will be fine Scarlet, I need something strong to put me back in order."

Scarlet nodded, snorting at Alex's continued banter but contributing nothing further for the time being. A few extra ingredients were set aside to be attended to shortly for Lilly and whoever else didn't feel like eating meat; for the rest, there was what was already on the way. She looked back out at the room, frowned slightly, and increased her portions a bit.

Alex spends his week nose pointed inside a Geomancy book. While normally hes incredibly socially adept, holy shit this week he will not shut the hell up about Geomancy. Like holy fuck man, no one cares about fucking chakras and qi and shit.
