The arm dropped. And so did Idunna's head. "Nah. They're not really carved into my arm. They exist on my skin. It's just... it's kind of like keeping a muscle flexed. For days."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Oooh. Yeah, I know the feeling. You'd be surprised how painful it gets to hold a violin and play it for about an hour. Need a pick-me-up? Coffee?"

[Mistwing]

"Tea please." Came a muffled acceptance from the sofa. "I could just... let them fade. But I gave up the date for the french revolution to make these and I really should see how long I can manage."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Wait what? French Revolution? Also, any particular kind of tea?"
Bernie stares at her as she heats up the kettle, rummaging through the box where the tea bags were kept.

Saturday: Crystal Rose- Essence Training

Friday evening, just before dinner time, the floor kitchen has a new addition. On the fridge there is a schedule sheet. Each weekend of the semster has been marked out, along with columns for every person on the floor, what they'll be doing on that day, the time they'll be doing it and if they want company along. With the sheet is a note.

Order maketh a society, and I'd like our floor to go from scattered groups of hunter-gatherers to a semi-organized tribe in the grand evolution of civilizations. Please mark your weekend activities on the sheet,
 so that we may better coordinate our efforts in both the practical and the social realm. I hope that this little sheet will draw us closer together until we eventually schism due a lovers spat or some other equally insipid communication issue.

[Mistwing]

"You can use memories as a medium to carve runes." Idunna admitted, kind of by-the-by. "Yeah. The bags in the flowery box are my favorite from home."

Dom walks into the Kitchen, his left hand filled with a root beer and a cup ramen in the other one. He starts up his ramen before going to sit on the armrest of the couch, listening to the two ladies speak for now. He looks somewhat grim compared to his usual demeanor.

"Wait, seriously, you can? How does that work?"
Bernie waves at Dom as he walks in, her eyes on the kettle and not on his expression.

[Mistwing]

Idunna just kind of waved at Dom. "Morning. Need a seat?" And slowly sat up, stretching upwards with her arms  in the air. "Seidr is formless power. It needs a vessel. But it doesn't need to be something you can touch. It took a few years but eventually mom taught me to fold memories, shadows, light and all sorts of things into shapes and setting the Seidr into that. Works just as well as gold or wood or blood."

Dom moves over to sit down, slouching low as he gets comfy. He's silent for a few minutes before turning.
"You guys have any plans for the day?"

[Twinwolf]

Lilly had slept in, being it was a Saturday, and wandered into the kitchen around then. "Didn't someone set up that schedule?" she asked as she sat down. She'd gotten fairly good at ignoring the guards. "I was planning to study today, but I might go to that new-age sounding shop that someone found last week. How about you?"

"I was watching some acient anime thingy on youtube and a character I liked died so I'm sad. I was gonna do some martial arts training to ignore the soul crushing depression..."
Dom pauses for a second. He sits up with a sigh.
"That sounds fun though. Mind if I come with?"

[mcclay]

Alex smugs into the room with a microwave burrito.

"I also was planning on going to the land of healing crystals and dubious herbs tomorrow. They have quite a few reagents there, and the propriters are quite talented. I was thinking of booking a group meditation class if multiple people were going with me."

[Twinwolf]

"I'm fine with you going, yeah." Lilly said to Dom. One of the guards coughed, and Lilly figured she knew what it meant - if she was going out with people, had to make sure she wasn't going to get... hungry, on them. She sort of scooted off to the side a bit, as she rummaged in her bag for a bit. "I guess we'll go as a group, then?" she said.

Dom nods and gives her a thumbs up.
