Tales of the Void
« on: January 22, 2018, 02:09:47 pm »

Space has always been a rather large place. Filled with innumerable galaxies, stars, and planets. The breath of existence is almost impossible to fully see and it's likely that perhaps life exists.

On the planet of earth civilization...life sentient and not. Rise and live. A rarity in the vastness of the galaxy but not one that is alone. This is the story of life.

This is the story of hiveminds. Of heroic and noble-bright space-faring empires and democracy. Of dictatorships cruelty and genocide.

These tales of the Void usher forth on pages made by innumerable hands.

Will your tale end in a Utopia?

Or will you be left nothing but a footnote on another's journey?

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

didn't want to but fine, time for fun
Nation Name: Tomb of the dead

Race: Upuaut

Fluff: Upuaut are the guides of the dead and lead them to the gateway of the dead(or what ever other races believe their afterlife has, in reality they enslave them and have them work to the bone) they look like black humanoid jackals, when they die they turn into black sand just to rise in the next wave of attacks. the Tomb of the dead are very warlike and enjoy committing monstrous acts in the name of their gods, their technology is very strange and can't be really called science at all but more of magical persuasion, also their very Egyptian like. this nation use the dead to no limit, even those who die in space aren't safe, the only things they enjoy engouh not to commit war is trading of luxury goods for some reason, many thinks it strange but play along with it.

Homeworld/type of planet: desert with enough oasis to compensate for the amount of sand, also some mountains and stuff

just in case you don't know what they look like here you go

I decided to step away from my usual character type, which is either something cat-based or psionic. Or both. Isn't true for this! The next opportunity I get to make a race, it'll be something weird. Like 3-meter tall octopuses that smell color.

Is this good?

Battleships Hurl insults from behind thick walls, Destroyers beat up small children, Carriers stay back in the kitchen, and Cruisers are a bunch of tryhards who pretend to be loners.

Balancing  3-4 empires who could be described as "at one point omnicidal" is probably a challenge, I applaud your work ethic or something.
