The Masked League Of Lucha Liberty

Luchadors, the masked exemplars of Strength, Justice, Honor, and Punching. From their fist shaped space station, The Hand of Fate, they watch over the world, ready to spring into action and fight against the forces of darkness wherever they appear. And all of it is captured by the ubiquitous LuchaTV cameras and broadcast to the hungry eyes of the world.  Now you, some ordinary shlub from somewhere, have gotten your hands on a Luchador Mask. The phenomenal, well oiled, cosmic power is now yours to wield in the pursuit of righteous glory and the adoration of billions.

This is a game about being a superpowered mexican wrestler (Luchador) fighting crime. And Aztec gods. And the undead. And Evil Luchadors.

Game is Standard RTD rules except with different sizes of dice for different levels. Higher levels make success more common but you'll never be able to entirely avoid the risk of horrible, hilarious failure. 

The game is mostly mission based with the players getting alerts from areas around the world that need their help and deciding who to help. 

Follow the document above, create a character, and read the short sections afterwards to get an idea of how things work.

Here's a map.  Every player gets their own room on the station, which can be decorated and set up as they like. This includes special accommodations for those with gimmicks or weaknesses that need particular care.

So follow those character creation rules and we'll start making some Luchadors. Oh and You are in charge of your own sheet. Actions posted without a sheet to back them up are considered automatic 1's. Bold your actions too!

Name: "Apoptosis"
Description: The mask is red and yellow, with the pattern of unhealthy-looking viscera covering it. It smells somewhat of meat. His skin is pale leathery scales over raw red veins, with a  gritty, sandy texture. Usually wears an unbuttoned lab coat, which gets discarded when things get Real.
Gimmick: Fluid body: Piercing weapons are ineffective, as they pass right through and his body simply reforms. Blunt trauma stuns, but causes no lasting damage.
Weakness: Slashing or heat damage.
Signature: Nature's fist: When attacking, he can change his striking limb into any shape found in actual nature, such as a bear claw, squid tentacle, or platypus venom spur.

Description: A fellow with short, messy black hair and brown eyes. Wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt with a very stupid design on it.

Gimmick: Son of the world famous Hero A Protagonist, Sr. He follows in his father's footsteps to win the title and Defend Against Evil
Weakness: Plot Twists, Cliffhangers, is compelled to step into the ring when his friends (or innocents) lives are at risk.
Signature: Reversal of Fortune. This move, preformed when Hero Jr. has taken a fair amount of lumps, turns his opponent's ability on its head and brings Hero Jr. out on top when he needs it most.

Name: Under the Mask, Hero A. Protagonist, Jr is mild mannered Junior "Hap" Protagonist.

Description: The mask has a lot of white fur surrounding it and miniaturized icicle outcroppings on the end that form weird icicle barb around the mask, beside that has a glorious red stripe down the frontal face and olive-green camo that surrounds the rest of the mask. It also has the Soviet Flag on the back
Gimmick; Is the human reincarnation of a Russian War Spirit that was based off a Polar Bear. (Level 3 Gimmick)
Weakness: Having the fur of energizing essence of a polar bear meant that Alexzandsr means that he is extremely flammable and will be ignited even with moderate amounts of friction caused to his skin. (Level 3 Weakness)
Signature: Through sheer willpower, can come back into the fight from a critically injured state or withstand any injury and even forcibly regenerate a limb or other missing appendage with that raw willpower and some help with powerful magix (Level 4 Signature)

Name: Alekzandr Tenaiev
Description: A muscular frame of a man, piercing hazel eyes and cropped brown hair. Bulging muscles everywhere, but likes to have mutton chops

Description: A mask mostly made of jute cloth that leaves the mouth relatively open. The rim of the mask surrounding the eyes, nose, and mouth is black, while the rest of it is the natural brown color. Wearer has a black dressy vest and pants, with a button down white shirt under the vest and brown loafers on their feet.
Gimmick: Master brewer and manipulator of coffee and related drinks. Tends to have several bottles, kettles, or such prepared in hammerspace, from a scalding hot brew to an arctic-cold frappé. His supply is limited, though, unless he can use reasonable coffee-brewing equipment. Level 1.
Weakness: Has taken an oath to not harm anyone who is drinking. Additionally, prone to giving details about drinks when someone else is drinking them, leaving him distracted. The former is unconditional, but the latter distinctly leans more toward coffee. Level 2.
Signature: The Espresso d'Mercure, a fabled brew than can provide anyone with godlike speed. It takes a minute to kick in, but when it does, one is supposedly is able to run on the surface of water. Often, he would take a moment to drink it for himself and follow up with a flurry of blows, but letting someone else drink it is not unheard of. Only he knows the recipe, and he fears of it falling into the wrong hands. Level 3.

Description: A leaner man with clean black hair, a somewhat light blue button-up shirt with a brown vest, and blue jeans. Worked at a bar before any of this happened.

Teamwork: Used to help others with their rolls.
Body: How resistant to damage and other negative things you are. 

Gimmick level 1, since large amounts of coffee probably has fairly limited tactical uses.

If it's the Ultimate Butt Buster, Hap breaks the buttbuster and puts the opponent in it instead, if the opponent's move is hypnosis, Hap's thick skull prevents hypnotic lock and the opponent becomes confounded by their own mental effort. If the opponent's ability is to step back in time one turn, Hap tags along for the ride.

essentially, a reflection or mimic ability.
possible nerfs:
requires Hero to be hit with the ability, or at least one similar, beforehand (perhaps even to the extent of losing a match, making this a comeback story)
can only be triggered when acclaim and tension are high (at the 'critical point' of a match)
cannot be used on a skill Hap already knows, or has defeated by other means.
