At first there was nothing.
Among the thifsy eddies and mimsy ripples of nothing, there emerged a fruminous and outgrabe speck of a something.
The something garrumphed from the philphatic and aphonting nothingness, twizzling and wreting as it ytemmed and grew to griggfonormous size.
A-whiffling, the something gyred and took maxnome shape, harrumphing into spatozwik form.
And within these frabjous and callooing vambles, a mighty thop rebade and gaped, until the yrden quenned and rose.

That was the intro to Lose Your Mind! Don’t worry, it’s not supposed to make sense. Yet.

This RTD is all about exploration and discovery. Throughout the course of this game, the players will not only find out what in God’s name is going on, but also the very rules of the game itself! There are going to be a myriad of hidden mechanics, all of which will be essential in completing the game to it’s goal. This means that this game is gonna get meta. Really, really meta.

As for what the game itself is gonna be like... well, imagine Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Then imagine that Lewis Carroll liked to get high off his ass on magic mushrooms while writing and was also completely insane. Conventional rules of logic do not apply here.

1. OOC and meta conversations among players are allowed and encouraged.
2. Most player actions will be rolled using a d10. Most of the time, but not always, the higher the roll the greater an action’s success is.
3. All rolls are affected by one’s stats and characteristics. No exceptions.
4. At the beginning of the game, there will be 5 player characters. Players will not be replaced if they stop posting or if their character dies.
5. Whenever a location, entity, person, or game mechanic is discovered by the players, it will be logged in the second post of the thread.
