Burn the Uvhoth, rendering them to ash that I whip up and throw at the town opposing me, so that their houses collapse and they succumb to my power.

Don't worry too much about the one mistake, Smoke Mirrors. Your character was memorable for all the demonology and story writing.

I’m running a game/mechanics test called Fate/Mechanics Test. Feel free to check it out.

Oh, I should probably note that all actions must be public, so you all can read that Smoke Mirrors will now

Turn Grimmersteel into cicada food.

The cicadas are planning something, I don't like this.

Keep a close watch on the cicadas for anything suspicious.

Hoping to escape this universe faster and help protect the defenseless Cicadas, Clestesth votes to lynch Grimmer.

@wertyzerty Smoke and Mirrors is trying to kill you, fam.

X'arilyg sends a message to the one known as "Grimmer", a thought pattern is processed into his normal godly thinking ways. He now knows that Nephilm is trying to assassinate him.

But don't worry, the eyes are always watching.

Hide the sun behind a gigantic cloud of dust.

Sorry, but hiding it under a gigantic cloud of dust is big enough to qualify as a (Decay|Dust|Specific) act, meaning you can't do it. Would you like to opt for something smoke related instead?

(Hour 10) Audditorius creates the Lightshrooms, a parasitic fungus that enforces his doctrine of pure law and good.

However, this comes with the side effect of driving the host to complete apathy and disconcert for everything except enforcing Law and Good - which they do with ruthlessness and brutality. The Lightshrooms slowly overgrow the host’s body, eventually turning them into a mindless mass of light and fungus that chases anyone that deviates even slightly from lawfulness and goodness.

The followers of Audditorius are now seen as a dangerous mind-consuming cult by the masses, and the Light becomes a term of fear to all men. Desperate measures are taken to contain them, and most people kill themselves rather than risk exposure to a Lightshroom.

And with all the other stuff going on, this isn’t even big enough to generate an Enthalpy.

CLESTESTH: "A great showing, my children! Now, then, my fellow gods have been busy corrupting the grass. The cicadas are now huddled in their fields in fear. Want some easy meals? Now's the time!"

ALPHA UVHOTH: “The cicadas? What? They have helped us so far. Those mortals foolish enough to follow insects, however...

(Hour 12) The Alpha Uvhoth drills up right in the middle of the shielding rune of a village. It corkscrews in midair and turns to regard the men below.

ALPHA UVHOTH: “Lord Clestesth is coming for you, little ones.

He then shoots through the air and drills down again through the shielding rune of another village.

-2 shielded villages
+1 enthalpy

(Hour 10)

X’arilyg tries to make Psycholoids based off dust instead.

Nothing happens.

(Hour 12) Clestesth, pleased with the success of his creatures, throws his ghastly green cigar down upon the earth.

Sadly, the conversion of divine objects to mortal materials hasn’t really been mastered yet.

Globs of strange material burning with green fire are spread over a good portion of the earth’s surface. The fire heals and purifies all living things near it.

A good fraction of the villages are able to collect some and use it to break the mind-control on the cicadas.

32 towns, including the Civil War town, no longer have mind-controlled cicadas

(Hour 13) Gello feeds the Windstorm.

It soon develops into a full-blown hurricane and induates two towns.

-2 towns
+1 weather problem
+1 enthalpy

(Hour 14) Roboson builds his Tower, which spurts water endlessly. A nice pond forms around it.

He also accidentally blesses all water, not just the stuff from the tower, so everyone gets strength and vitality.

The civil war increases in vigor.

+1 enthalpy

(Hour 16) Cavefriend surrounds a town in a cave, careful to avoid hitting the shield.

The town begins mining the cave for minerals and becomes famous for its earthly riches. In honor of the benefit this brings, it is renamed Cavefriend in time, though the people do not know how fitting the name is.

(Hour 18) Nephilim attempt to transmute all Grimmersteel into cicada food.

He fails.

Conditions of the Surface

  • Emotional monsters
  • A Uvhoth fused with a Light power
  • A small big windstorm
  • Crystals everywhere
  • Tower of Grimmer
  • Healing green fire
  • Tower of Roboson
  • Evil light fungi
  • Vitality boosting water everywhere

Of the 43 towns:

  • 30 are faithful to the Cicadas, though scared.
  • 2 have lost shields
  • 5 have Cicadas mind-controlled by Nephilim
  • 1 was destroyed by a Uvhoth
  • 2 were destroyed by a hurricane
  • 2 have turned to Grimmer
  • 1 is fighting the Grimmer towns

If you acted but didn't see something happen, then it was probably no-showed by the Fire Sigil; check the timeline.

The Fire Sigil is now made out of crystal! Crystal doesn't decay! Do you want to try again?
