Currently trying this out. It's, essentially, World of Tanks but with giant spaceships blasting each other. I've only played the tutorial so far.

I played this in beta on PS4 a couple months ago. It wasn't terrible...just underwhelming. Might have improved since then.

I had much the same experience with the PC version. It wasn't bad, just didn't engage with it.

How does it compare to Fractured Space? Cuz that's another WoT-like instanced shooter with big spaceships in space, which was fun last time I played it a couple of years back.

It's closer to Fractured Space than Star Conflict in terms of vessel control and ship roles, but at the time I played the matches played out more like Star Conflict.

yeah, I remember that. was not a good game.

Gameplay was slow, meta-game was grindy, it did not feel epic (a spaceship doesn't look big even if the text description tells you it's 1 kilometer long if the smallest asteroid is 10 times bigger and that there aren't any other ship).

bad game is bad.

My bad, this was Fractured Space. They look too similar :/

I've been playing it and I was considering quitting, like you guys were.

Then I got into T2 (in a corvette) versus other players and it's a very different game. Really fast paced, shockingly.
