Elf slave in adventure mode

I found a elf slave inside a mead hall and i rescued her and "delivered" the girl to her brother, but i'm not sure how to complete said task (she is still my follower, and if i cancel the agreement she will just stand there). Any idea of how to properly end this task?

Slit the elf's throat Let her stand there. Should count as delivered, I think.
