A fiery-looking dark elf welcomes you inside and leads you through a wide open space, a typical dark-elf garage in every way except for the — ah, robot suit. The elf, who introduces himself as Chantar Drake, opens a narrow trapdoor and invites you into his subterranean home.

...huh? No, but all of my tools started going haywire. Decided to do some calibrations and things were happening far outside the realm of physics. Tried to figure out what was going on, set up some data tables, and tried to find a pattern. It said things were gonna spike. However! Managed to figure out how it was gonna happen, and how to block it. There was enough magic already around to set up wards. Ergo, shielding device.

"Hmph. I'll have to take your word for it you have not exactly use that.... uhm.... Whatever it is you have over there to try to kill us." Looks around trying to familiarize herself with the place and heads down the ladder.

Shrugs while walking down.

"I dunno. I have had to spend too much time in New York with pissed off neighbors throwing things out windows and gunshots in the middle of the night."

Those of you in the suburban home (crazyabe, Rahx, Blood_Librarian, and Glass) hear a loud groaning noise from outside, followed by a wet whumph, followed by silence.

The dark elf walks over to look out one of the windows, then turns sharply away, looking extremely nonplussed and making a sound like a deflated balloon.

Silently the Calamari is taken out and put on a plate of sorts. Experimentally cutting into it and sniffing it before taking a bite. Her mouth awash with new flavors from the experience and not exactly sure what to say she lets a small smile cross her face.

Tentacles seemed rather good and rather delicious!
