Meh, Either this or the draft, I'm not picky. Might as well go full diesel/steampunk.

Hmm. The Wolf might be more immediately applicable, I suppose.

Ebbor, I have found a severe flaw in the Eagle:
It doesn't have any equipment for making tea.

I recommend this be quickly remedied.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

No Keg either.
This country runs on tea and alcohol, depriving our hard-working soldiers of both would be like depriving a hospital of coffee, and we all know how that would go.

We really need those kegs.

My submarine has been revised to have room for tea boilers and kegs.

Aye. They'll have their flasks, but what about when the battle's over and they need to drink to Toskesh's downfall?

I don't think Airship is the way to go. It's not rigid and it's unarmored, so any sort of flak round will fuck it up. Hydrogen is also an issue, since it's quite flammable. It also lacks bomb sights, so it can't even bombs accurately and four engines doesn't sound enough to give it enough speed to avoid anti-air fire. Combine with the fact that it's otherwise unarmed, as soon as enemy makes any sort of flying fighting craft it will lose it's dominance.

I also bet $5 that will be National Effort level of cost, since it's so massive.

Personally, i would either go for Battle Carbine to get a proper rifle for our troops and possible a Not!Assault Rifle, or I would go for the Anti-Materiel Rifle to get a a pretty massive sniper rifle and ability to fuck their hovercrafts.

To me, the bombing is secondary; something to have it be immediately effective in combat at least for a bit. The real benefits are the TC it gives us and the turboshaft experience.

Anyways, I'm doing two things since there's a lot of opposition to the Eagle from people who aren't voting for it:
1.) Making a secondary "b" variant of the Eagle, below. This variant is just 100m long, removes mention of the Ironcasters (to be safe), and is semi-rigid again. I'm okay with either, but hopefully others hate this variant less.
2.) Adding a secondary vote to the Draft, to allow it to be more competitive for people who prefer the helicopter.

NAF-LAB-51b "Eagle" Airship (Variant B)
The Eagle is a semi-rigid zepellin style airship. A duralinium framework holds up it's streamlined cigarlike form, within which reside numerous hydrogen filled gas bags. It has a length of about 100 meters. This gives it a significant lifting capacity.

Propulsion is provided by 4 propellers jutting out of the side of the hull, each of which is reversible and can be operated individually. Beneath the airship hang 4 gondola's. The bridge gondola, the engine gondola that contains the turboshafts driving the propellors, and 2 payload gondola's, which can either contain goods/personnel or bombs. Positions are prepared for, but not armed with, possible machine guns.

For safety, it's equipped with lifeboats, vests, and some essentials for the crew and possibly passengers.

(I'm voting for 3 things, yes, but I consider both variants of the Eagle the same so it's all good!)
