I'm starting a new RTD on my discord called Neo-Terra. The First Lore post explains the setting. The first action roll is going to happen when we get enough players.

The world was forever changed when it happened. Great fiery asteroids slammed into the world and unleashed a deadly plague of monstrous aliens upon the world. No two monsters looked the same except for their many sharp teeth and claws and their never ending desire to kill everything that moves.
When the asteroids hit, they unleashed a wave of energy throughout the world that fried everything electronic; computers, cell phones, GPS, air plane engines, hospital equipment, everything.
Much was lost in those early years as the invaders destroyed cities and appeared to be unstoppable. But humanity was not about to lay down and accept defeat, a large collection of survivors launched a war on the invaders and year after year, more invaders died and more survivors joined the fight.
Soon almost all of the aliens were destroyed. A few escaped into the wilderness, a few more sought refuge inside their enormous rocks, places humans could not venture into and live to tell the tale.
The world was desolate however. Of humanity's 8.2 billion population, only a measly 79 million remained after the onslaught. Debris from the meteors plunged the temperature down to extreme lows. Farming became difficult, and a constant haze turned every day into twilight and every night into a moonless darkness.
With electricity gone, humanity has reverted back into an age of manual labor and melee combat. Outside of a few nation-states clinging to life in this inhospitable wasteland, every aspect of human life has devolved into the basic clan structure. Outside the borders of the few remaining nations, the wilderness is filled with nothing but ravenous monsters and a cold and barren landscape.
