She's almost completely reverted to Yabalchoath. I think her mask is still blue, hard to tell if it's fully ebon or if it's just a very dark bluish purple with her former ebon self leaking through heavily. And she is definetly not happy with Allison.

She's at least in control enough that she didn't kill Allison outright, that's probably a good sign.  This should still be very interesting.

Well, we don't know how long ago it happened, and given that she seems to have done it without getting caught, it's entirely possible that she did it very stealthily... It's entirely possible that he wouldn't remember her simply because she did it so stealthily.

As for the purple skinned woman, is she human?

I guess it's not surprising that it's become in effect a prision for Mammon. I could imagine him delegating duties as he got old or perhaps the high priest/esses recognized he was growing frail over time and the duties just slowly got transferred to them.

If living forever means that he would slowly decline until perhaps his brain didn't function anymore, that sounds like a miserable existence.

Had enough foresight to recover her blade and clean it, so I'd have to say that she's functioning fully enough for reason to be possible.

Allison had still better get to the hugging, her girlfriend is clearly upset.

She's human, I think, but as his Emissary she's infused with an unknown portion of Mammon's power. According to Abaddon's tumblr she's also his only Emissary, plus with the influence she seems to have over him that portion is probably "a lot."

Q:Hey Abbadon, can you tell me a bit more about Emissaries (I think that's what they're called); I.E. those trusted advisors that the 7 sometimes give a bit of their Key too? I want to run an RPG where the PCs are Emissaries from each demiurge teamed up for some reason, and I want to know just a bit more background before I put pen to paper. How many emissaries are there running around at one time, usually? Do they keep their Keys for extended periods of time, or is more on an "on loan" basis?

A: As the demiurges draw all their stolen power from the Flame Immortal, the emissaries draw their power directly from the demiurges. Unlike the demiurges, who have all extended their lives through various methods, they are not immortal. They don’t have the same level of mastery and dominance that their masters do. But they are still extremely powerful. The number of emissaries is typically only a few, and certain demiurges, such as Jagganoth and Gog-Agog do not split their power, either out of disdain or fearing it would weaken them. Solomon stands alone in having many emissaries. Mammon only has one. We’ve seen a couple in the comic, the most notable being one of Mottom’s emissaries, and the head priest ‘000001′ who is about to feature prominently. They are sort of like mini-demiurges, if I had to describe them succinctly.

It'd be a pretty quick end to the comic if she did kill Allison anyway.

She did notice that Allison wasn't herself, though I wonder if the pink iris was visible to her or if it's just a thing that only the readers can really see, so, she may not know that Allison had the self-ephiphany and is back under control.

Just reminded myself how great it is that her first reaction to seeing an unbound devil was "AAAAAAH PUT A MASK BACK ON IT FUCK" and the mages being amazed at the stupidity of trying and surprised at it working.
