Man, the early stuff was very rough and unpolished so I've been watching and enjoying his development artistically in addition to digging the story and worldbuilding stuff.

I've got to say that I like the roughness of the older art. It helped emphasize how strange and alien the world was at the beginning. That it gradually became more refined as Allison (and the reader) got more familiar with the Multiverse is very fitting.

So, it's confirmed now that Zoss isn't just inside Allison's head. He seems to get a bit more coherent every time we see him. It also looks like Incubus is there physically as well, given how he knocks over the stool.

It does seem to be Incubus' dream self and not his blood-bathing version.

I'm not shitting on it, been reading it for years and loved it the whole time, it's just very visible seeing the growth he's been making artistically.

Still gritty and sketchy but I feel like he's gotten a better sense for how to get what he wants us to see on the page actually on the page.

Honestly- I get the feeling the Keys are a tool and chain, they show you HOW to use the power of god, but cripple you to low to mid range usages of it- Zoss has made that power into a part of himself and thus doesn't need his Key, and from his transcendence to a less comprehensible level of reality and power beyond time, truth and the keys he sees JUST how badly they fucked up, but as he is "dead" from giving up his key he can't directly act on this "level" of reality anymore and fix it.

Well, I think there's room to debate that, he did create two suns for the planet after all, and who knows what else over all those millennia.

Given the context, I'm thinking he probably stole the suns, much as Rayuba's sun was stolen in the first place. So he stole Rayuba's sun back, and then probably the sun from Yemmod's homeworld because Dave is just that kind of guy. Talk about eye for an eye.

That is definitely a fair point, tho' the results of installing two suns would probably qualify as dwarven science, at least by most standards of this forum.

Well, it wasn't an instant kill. I'm not sure if that says Dave knows better than to be predictable when fighting an angel or if it says he's foolishly prideful to not immediately annihilate the arena with Ki Rata.

Probably the latter. He seems to be using White Chain's own style to prove that he's better at angelic martial arts than an angelic master. While trying to appear honorable by not using either of the WMDs available to him.
