Yes, I remember. It is a reveal of what juggernaut's whole design looks like though, as we only saw the face before. And it's certainly a development that heshetheyit appears this way now. I was expecting a fight with Vigilant Gaze, not whatever this is. Are we due a plot reveal of what Thorny really is? Is it a ruse to make White Chain put her guard down? I am interested to see where this is going.

The funny part is that this is probably an excellent way to select for people who are good enough at war to hold their own but smart enough to know when they can't win, and won't throw their lives away. No wonder Dave is offering them titles in the empire.

Fuck the character development, check that art development, he's gone back and redone earlier pages to bring them up to his improving standards and color them and such but daaaaaaaaang he went all anime and shit in that last shot.

Man, the early stuff was very rough and unpolished so I've been watching and enjoying his development artistically in addition to digging the story and worldbuilding stuff.

The change from the early black and white more clearly amateur comics to stuff like the art through the Mammon arc, all the way to today is like whoadang.

Death of white chain is not that important though. As far as I know the demiurges lack the power to truly exterminate angels, like Zoss could. 

Temporary decorporeation is inconvenient, but not fatal for White Chain.  Considering how damaged White Chain's body is anyway, Allison should be body shopping for her, not feeling morose and having a pity-party in the dungeon.

Given the peptalk from zoss just now, it's how I personally would approach it, if I were Allison.  "Hey Cio, White chain's gonna need a new ride. She's gonna drive that hoopty in the demolition derby and get the last mile out, but we should totally go to the body shop for her. Least we can do, given we're the ones who jacked her last one."

Armor destruction doesn't seem to be much of a hindrance - but Salami Dave and the Karate Rattan definitely won't stop at that, and soul destruction takes some time to recover from and includes partial personality death.

My understanding is that Zoss couldn't kill angels for good either, but the Prime Angels whom he killed are taking so long to reincarnate that the multiverse will have grown cold and dark before they can return. That's why he left Metatron broken but alive, just in case.
