I'm still not at all convinced that the threat of Mottom is in any way sufficient to dissuade Maya, she was prepared to crash one of Nadia's parties while her glorious self was right there.

Not saying that it would go well for her, probably go pretty poorly in fact, but I'm not convinced that she even cares at this point.

Also, if she had realized that the wheel was 6's core, not the humanoid part, I really think Juggy would be re-incarnating right now. (ninja'd by Egan)

Well, getting a new suit of armor made, not reincarnating. Unless she dove into the void to kill him a second time, but that doesn't seem like her style.

No matter how hard you hit an angel in the real world, they'll only get banished at most. Zoss had to banish all the prime angels from Throne, then chase them down in the void to actually kill them. And they're still not permanently dead, just taking a very long time to reincarnate.

I was thinking, and I just realized: Mottom is going to flip her shit when she discovers how senile Mammon is. No matter what else she might think about it, she and the other demiurges all think he's still at least comparable to his peak. Remember Mottom's overriding motivation? Stop Jagganoth from burning the multiverse to ash. She didn't take Alison's key or kill her even after the whole incident with "fucked you over and doomed you to die" to preserve the containment alliance against Mr. Nails.

And now she's about to get proof that they are all fucked, because one of those six has almost completely fallen in secret. God only knows what she'll think if she lives long enough to find out Incubus has gone all fucksnap kill-the-world too.

I might have misunderstood that part, I was under the impression that if an angel was badly damaged enough they had to reincarnate, and that the maybe-sword was a method adequate to cause that kind of damage.  But again, I may have been mistaken.

And yeah, this is definitely a moment where everything is going to blow up to an apocalyptic level.  I wonder if Nadia is going to want Allison's help (not that I think she's going to ask politely), or is coming to seize her key.

Okay, took some looking, but here it says that when Zoss killed the prime angels, he chased them into the void. So I assume that if he can't kill them outright without going into the void, Maya can't either.

I'm not sure I'd call that definitive, if only because it lacks a lot of context, but I'll roll with it unless new information becomes available.

She seriously got a piece of Juggy tho'.  Seeing as at least some of the other Demiurges (as evidenced by his exchange with Jagganoth) feel that Incubus is just a pretender to Maya's throne, I wonder how powerful she really is, comparatively.

Wasn't there a quote about a God having struck down an angel and having a whole army wiped out because of it?  Nevermind, it was from a general who fought one, no context as to who he was beyond a title.  It did say that it cost him one-hundred an fifty men, before it went critical.

If Mottom still cared that much about stable alliances she wouldn't batter through Yre-Ynamon's walls with a burning suicide fortress. She is a chaser of true royalty now, only different from the 108 in the scope of her weaponry.

That doesn't mean Nadia of all people will react well to the ravages of age and senility.

But she's no reality warper, and if she couldn't even take out an angel a demiurge could crush her.

Looks like theres enough swords stuck in his neck to account for several centuries worth. Given how the seven have been ruling for 2000-3000 years, I'd easily bet that Mammon has been like this for several centuries now. Also, while Maya could easily down Mammon, she'd have to get past 00001, who looks like she's no pushover.
