Is this a bug?

So, most of you know the visitor bug, but one of mine was an elven prophet which is not listed as a possible visitor, and prophets in general seem to have basically no information on the wiki

In what way is an Elf Prophet "not listed as a possible visitor"? If it's missing from some Wiki page, it's very possible (and quite likely) that the wiki page is simply wrong - after all, Prophets were added in 0.44.01, and it's highly likely that nobody's gotten around to updating that page just yet.

Alternatively, it could be a spy - reportedly, they have false identities.

prophets were added just this last version? That would explain a lot

Can you check if it has weapons? If it does, its possibly a spy with a false identity. If not, can you do some science on their behavior? Are they hanging out in your temple? Do they speak/"preach"/otherwise interact with other people relating to their status as a prophet?

I checked the wiki real quick, there's not a page for prophets nor any mention of them on the visitor page, so if you do feel like doing some science then this could be useful to update the wiki :)

Mine does appear to be a spy and toady should PROBABLY stop them from disguising as prophets if they can't visit normally, since that's a crap disguise

Prophets are a new visitor type. They visit like all other visitors. Toady increased the number of visitor types since some of them are going to be spies.
