Hello everyone,

I'm a fairly novice modder and I'm interested in branching out into lua scripts for dfhack. My first idea is to have certain stock counts visible on the main screen not unlike the calendar or idle dwarf counter. I'm mainly interested in setting this to # of certain bars or coins available.

Would anyone be willing to provide some insight on where a good starting point would be or if this is even possible?
