Seriously, look it up. It's slowing things down a fair bit; because people are trading and breeding cats in a cryptocurrency (Makes no sense, yet my friend currently earned 1k USD from it :V)

This is the first time I'm seeing 35 gwei/gas as recommended minimum gas price. That's 0.13 €/(10k gas), or 0.27 € transaction fee for a cup of coffee that you buy in person while simultaneously forced to wait in the store for 10 min for the transaction to clear.

Now is not the time for deploying contracts, though, or sending large transactions.
