I got a visitor right when I started a new fort then right after that they request to be part of my fort.That just gave me some defense early in the game since they are a ax dwarf.There profession is monster hunter which is new.Any other new guest stuff I should know of?

If you see a lot of elves coming at the beginning claiming to be bards/scholars, they are most likely spies.

I have set up an inn for citizens only and a public meeting zone in an empty room. This room is now full of elves, like 20 or so, I call it the elf-hole.

lol. Now my dwarfs are runing away from something and are really scared but I cant find out what it is.I checked reports but nothing and there thoughts read:"He is vengeful in a conflict".What could it be?

They get "vengeful in a conflict" when a friendly unit was attacked and they attempted to join in the fight. There should have been a 'r'eport for the combat that he joined.

It is possible they're not running away, but in fact to an event. I have had a whole lot of fun when everyone decided to attack a cyclops which had attacked a favourite mayor.
