Dark Foundry
Industry is the foundation of an empire, and the foundry is the foundation of our industry. A sprawl of blasting furnaces and casting moulds built in our home plane. Being located in the lower plane eliminates the need for huge resource drains to keep the forages active as well.  The imps are ideal workers for this with their resistance to fire and strength, and can be stationed here to build weapons and armor for war. At it's conception, the foundry is only made to produce mundane weapons and armor. Magical items are still left to us as gods to create. These dark furnaces are the seed from which our terrible empire shall grow.

Imps, short leathery red skinned creatures with small claws and horns, imps have a minor affinity for fire. (1 UWP)

Flame casters a form of imp sized stave roughly two feet long, Flame casters shoot small balls of fire roughly several inches across, and require several minutes of time after each shot to recharge. (2 UWP)
Shadow blades short, vicious daggers formed from a semiclear crystal with a very sharp edge. (2 per UWP)

Fire balls produces a tiny ball of fire at the tip of the item thus enchanted and shoots it in a straight line. Recharge rate reduces with surface area. (x4 price)

The Lich a master of curses and some minor necromancy, the Lich may not be the strongest physically but his mental strength more than makes up for it. (3000 UWP)

if we spend our resources on the champion and have a force of 1000 flame casters followed by 2000 shadow blades

if we did this for first turn we would have 3000 uwp left to build a foundry and supple the imps needed for it

RAM, the next step is to reset the votebox sans the foundry and revote, yes?

Now we keep voting, yes, and are, of course, free to submit new ideas despite what keeping the old votebox might imply to the contrary. I want to try keeping the three votes but not being allowed to move them from an idea that won, to give the losers more fun, and I am calling it that for now, but it is probably easier to just knock it down to two votes each now that there are two designs/prototypes/revisions left.

Would be fun, but we would lose any slashing. I propose changing them to halberds, actually. Just realized.

i think the imps won't be strong enough to both hold a halberd and a shield so the spear might be better for tactical formation
