Slow saves
« on: November 26, 2017, 06:42:42 pm »

Is it just me, or is the save process getting to ridiculous lengths?  Each update, I realize there's more info, but it's getting to where seasonal saves are taking more than a minute per.  Is there any way to speed them up?

I'm new to succession forts in general, yes, but do all forts designed by multiple overseers inevitably degenerate into a body-filled labyrinth of chaos and despair like this? Or is this just a Battlefailed thing?

There isn't much middle ground between killed-by-dragon and never-seen-by-dragon.

SSD?
Haven't noticed any difference between this and the last version to be honest.

I've noticed maybe a slight lag from the last version, but nothing especially frustrating or time-consuming in my case.

It's actually pretty terrifying to think about having all of your fat melt off into grease because you started sweating too much.

I've noticed, but I genned my history longer than I usually do, resulting in a lot more historical figures, as well as the added artifacts. Not sure how much is due to that.

It is significantly longer to save in this version, but I would say that after nearly every update. I do have an SSD and would guess that it's taking about ~15% longer to save in this version.

That sounds like what I'm experiencing as well... and yes, I am using a SSD  :)
