I've been trying to finish fixing the bugs in the burgers Voliol made for the LOLmod. Can anyone tell why this reaction doesn't give a product? The dwarves respond to it and bring meat to the kitchen, but no burger is produced as a result.

Tough to say without seeing the rest of the raws, but have you tried GET_MATERIAL_FROM_REAGENT:meat:BURGER_MAT] instead of GET_MATERIAL_FROM_REAGENT:meat:BURGER]? I just saw that it has [HAS_MATERIAL_REACTION_PRODUCT:BURGER_MAT], but the product takes from the ID BURGER.

Yes, but it actually needs to boil too. So I like set the boiling point just below the melting point, which has to be between 10000 and 10090 urists or sometimes it will kill people.

Of course it also causes materials around it that are weak, like clothing or wooden blocks the workshop or tools are made of, to degrade and break after only a few exposures.

any help on this one?

I made the syndrome make the user throw up and go unconscious to make it obvious that it worked, but nothing is happening. The goblin does the reaction correctly, but no syndrome is applied. Do I need to use a different mat template?

The idea was for this to be a rotten sludge of random body parts. So instead of a traditional fermentation of sugars it is an "intoxication" from eating a soup of rotten meat and other rancid organs. I can change the name to make it more accurate though and add fermented milk. I may add milking to cave rats too and have their milk spread some other nasty disease.

Is the wiki melee momentum formula correct in implying that a larger individual of a given creature imparts less momentum than a smaller individual, all else being equal?

I like that idea. I'll make a normal blood drink as a water substitute :) and add fermented milk.

Thanks. It could be that. Maybe I can make multiple boulders to produce more gas. I'll keep testing it.

multiple boulders doesnt work either: only one cloud of gas can exist at a time anyway and additional boulders would boil on the same tick the first one does, missing their chance to produce a cloud.

This is why I switched to edibles to teach spells tbh. I only use the gas clouds for dangerous syndrome effects

Yea. Maybe I will switch it to an edible. The offering (reagent) is a corpse/corpse part so the gift (product) could be a "blessed/cursed" corpse/corpse patt that the goblin is then expected to eat.

Secrets actually work just fine without reanimation interactions. The books just end up in libraries instead of in a tower.

Are there any utilities to help mod graphics for creatures and other stuff but mainly creatures? It just seems like such a drag to be going into the .txt files.

Also, any tips for a newbie when modding graphics for creatures?
