Normal CLAW or upscaled or mount adapted (external power and cooling)?

The Blizzard uses the same CLAW the infantry use. I don't think there's any changes needed.

Also you should vote the Ubergun. For maximum destruction. It's a giant artillery piece that fires all the way from our capital to the battlefields.

Not practical in the least. If Paris gun and the like did taught us something, it is that shooting at that distances cant be precise no matter what you do, unless you somehow use artillery with smart munition, with its own problems.

And to CLAW. In turret it would be practical to have vital components(power, cooling) hidden inside. Besides, Turreted CLAW have to be more powerfull to deal with tanks that will attack it.

We have supercomputers. We could put a supercomputer on the firing calculations.

As for the CLAW... it's already good enough to deal with enemy planes. The turret would be meant for enemy infantry anyways.

That wont really help with targetting. No matter what you do, splash zone of gun that big at that distance will be of the size of a small city, almost like that of a small meteorite.
And turret, what happens when big expensive turret meets enemy tanks, of with is many?

Of course, that's exactly what we want. It's a superweapon, after all. Perfect for blowing up the enemy.

Couldn't we just aim at their own city? Just rods from gods them into oblivion?

That would be awesome, and we could, but our side won't let us blast their city into oblivion because of the civilian casualties. That said it would be awesome for getting rid of enemy troops. Enemy armies, maybe. That's why it's called a superweapon!

Also this brain wave stuff sounds like a way of copying our enemies (who are psychic)

I got that impression from discord anyway, as I decided to side with the Mecha people, not psionics.

It's cyborg tech. Yes, it is our way of mimicking their psychics, but it's definitely a different approach. It's an extension of CAT.

It's really nothing like psionics and everything like linking people together into a peoplenet. Which we can then use to make Voltron.

Ok but if we roll poorly on Gun we can adjust, if. Rain Wave messes up, more so as your putting everyone in mind link at risk of becoming comatose orbtheir brains melting. Aside feeling eachbothers very thoughts and experiences helps in rapid response.

 But.

Everyone is going to feel everything, including injury and death. Something humans can die from mere shock in feeling said things.

Besides, if we want to enhance coordination, we could just give enhanced coordination training as a revision, or fix the dang union and put a radio in every Bear Armor helmet. Easy, and less likely to be brain-melting.

The Ubergun should actually be easier than Brainwave. The Ubergun's only new things are electromagnetic acceleration and the geothermal power plant, and those aren't particularly hard technologies compared to something like mental transmission of perfect visual images.

Also there's the fact that there's only so much a normal brain can process. Imagine Brainwave succeeding... and then every soldier using it gets too many images and sounds to concentrate on. It's a little ambitious.

That's why you need a couple extras in a sensory deprivation chamber to provide backup processing, obviously.

And that's how you make SEEMs.

I mean, what's the advantage of Brainwave? Improved coordination and communication? We could get that with radios!

It's kinda like using a Rube Goldberg machine to make a cup of tea when you could just use the pot. Too much ambition for the goal.
