We still can revise this into some kind of civilian spacesuit or revise TC1 utility vehicle from a civilian car and try to upgrade the battery that way

I wonder what we needed to get a useful thing from this? Below average wouldn't be that much better... so, 6+? The worst part is that now we'll burn another design on this (or revision now)

I would like to remind everyone that we do have that Minor Revision Advantage (roll 3d4, ditch the lowest roll) from the event. I don't think we were saving it, but the lack of mention of it makes it likely that everyone forgot about it.

We spent it automatically back when we got it.

No, we didn't. The first revision since the event was the Fog Machine, which certainly didn't get rolled at advantage. And I'm fairly sure we can't retroactively apply this to one of our designs.

Jilla is correct, you still have the Minor Advantage. Sorry, I assumed you knew and were saving it for a particularly important revision.

I like the idea of rolling the revision at advantage, if we really, really, really desperately want to deploy Power Armor this turn.

QS-TRS-05 Krabbi
QS-Krabbi-05 is a variant of Heimdalr. It still has back up internal battery but main source of power is a flexible cord attached to external source of power. It uses light conventional armor. It is meant to be used in defensive positions, by Hrungnir's escorts (they can plug in tank's reactor) and combat engineers for faster construction of fortifications. Also, it is widely used in civilian construction: on land, on the sea floor and in the orbit.

This is meant to be easy\trivial. I want to be sure that we'll roll something useful, something we can deploy. Cord limits infantry mobility but we are on defensive on D anyway and in this form it should benefit civilians, too.

Right... We do need to get started on this... I will assume that everyone will at least be starting off voting for their own thing.

okay it has overwhelming advantage, just like we do in orbit.

Fix the Heimdallr.... (Seriously. Name Requested. I will become your best friend.)
A curious event happened, a rowboat washed up near our Design Facility, inside was the head researcher for Lorf R&D himself! He claims that the shareholders barred lab access until he came up with a catchy, advertisement worthy, description of the Eitr. In his words, this left him in a near constant state of boredom-induced sleep. After the obvious monumental failure of the proof of concept prototype, they left him for dead. The only reason we're giving this sleep deprived researcher another chance is the fact that he had some very crude blueprints of how to fix the Eitr... We then promptly threw him at the Heimdallr project, and told him to fix it.

Our first priority is to fix the Eitr's... Explosive tendencies. The Lorf himself suspects that the jostling is causing short circuits to occur with disastrous results. Increasing the power storage would be nice, but it is not our objective here.
Secondly, the motors are too weak for the job. For now, we will greatly reduce the thickness of the Titanium layer enough so that the motors will start working with acceptable performance. As Ertex does not utilize weapons beyond lasers (Their Sarissa is not a weapon, but Warcrimes incarnate!), this is a simple compromise. The blueprints for the fully armored version is to be kept on record, however, in case it is needed.
Thirdly... This is more of a quality of life fix, to address the battery life issue... The Mirage Plating is given a switch, allowing the wearer to conserve power when not in direct combat. Also, a large charging cord is included with the suits, allowing them to be recharged from a Hrungnir's reactor.
Fix the Heimdallr (Easy): (1+4+2)+1 = 7: Superior Craftsmanship
Well, we sure did fix the batteries. Who even knows what the problem was; we more or less started from scratch, didn't really do anything wildly different, and yet now the Eitr works flawlessly. Not only does it not explode, it has twice the power capacity of the old version- or 10x conventional batteries. Optimising power consumption further increases battery life, meaning you can walk around in Heimdallr armour for 3-4 hours without needing to recharge (which can be done in the field by plugging into a Hrungnir).
Reducing the weight of the armour- not an especially hard thing to do- obviously decreases the defensive value somewhat, but it ensures there are no more problems with the motors, and lets users move around more freely.
Letting the wearer toggle the Mirage Plating was a trivial change, which we couldn't have messed up if we tried.

It is now the Strategy Phase of SY105

Fully agreed. As I said in Discord, it's time we extend. I'd like to hit all of B, D, and G in some way this turn.

Right, time to make a formal Plan... (NUKE can you please add where the ships are in the Production spoiler in the future? We have a third ITC... Where is it?!)

Operation Burning Blockade
Production (1.5 SPP, 13 GPP left):
1 set of Heimdallr Power Armor (3 GPP)
1 set of Mirage Plated Hrungnir Tanks (with Ullr, of course) (5 GPP)
1 Dove (1 SPP)

Orders:
ITC on Quillus; equip the Dove and move both the Heimdallr and Improved Hrungnir to D (And drop the equipment to the forces on the ground)
ITC over D (the one with the Dove and Loki's); remove the outdated Hrungnir, and move it to our unit on F. Cover F's orbit with Loki's
Other ITC over D; travel to Quillus
Odin; move to Quillus for repairs
Thought; move to A and cover its orbit
Memory; remain over D and cover its orbit

There, I think this is what we want to do? Kick Ertex off of our side of the map while improving the situation on D while blocking off the enemy ITC over E with their 5th Unit from reinforcing any of the fronts. We're steadily pushing them back on all fronts except F, where we're stalemating, but the outdated tanks should turn the tide even if not ideal.
We just have to stop them from landing more stuff and we'll be good, for now at least.
