EAD (Ertex Aerospace Division) S-A-S Interceptor "Talon"
The Talon is, as is implied an Space-Air-Superiority Interceptor designed to counter Quillian resistance. Designed with a modified Fusion-boosted Nuclear Ramjet for propulsion in engagements ranging from close air support for ground engagements to orbital trajectory based combat, albeit in a stunted manner (Much like Quillian engineers). The craft is designed to be carried by ITC's and deployed in the orbit of targeted planets for airspace superiority. For environmental concerns, the reactor of the engine has been contained with a specialized laser matrix along with a extremely delicate quartz bubble which allows thermal energy transfer, without loosing bits of nuclear material into the local area underneath the craft. The engine is powerful enough to commit to extreme void maneuvers and slightly less extreme air maneuvers. It can also leave the atmosphere into a orbital trajectory with a full fuel tank (Hydrogen). When in atmosphere only the materials required to run the fusion reactor are required, as it uses an air-ramjet to propel itself.
Six hard points allow the Talon to carry six tactical nuclear weapons or three theoretical strategic variants. It also comes with the infrastructure to support a hard-pointed energy weapon, which is currently engineered around supporting the laser weapon. Simply put, its about 50-80 Surplus Raider assemblies welded together and discombobulated and fired in succession to keep up with cooling systems while causing thermal cracking in the target. Although more effective against atmosphere based targets, It has no capacity to commit to X-ray laser weapons as it is more designed to take down theoretical air targets then anything else. It is make shift in nature, an afterthought to building the entire machine, although one could be switched out for another, more refined design.
The entire craft is contained in a modified Island Alloy frame designed to handle orbital insertions and handle the extreme G maneuvers required for both orbital and air combat. one of the greatest advantages of this aircrafts design comes from its unique departing from conventional aircraft design. Its Fuselage contains the thrusting system that provides both lift and propulsion, while its forward swept wings merely provide fine maneuvering with additional thrust systems. it has came to a point where the ships could still fly even without its wings and tail/vertical stabilizers, as they are merely used to assist it in maneuvering in atmospheres. After it is deployed from orbit, it is to refuel from a land based operations base, although in places without such equipment, it can do one bombing run before being grounded until such equipment has been set. It is not designed to re dock at a ITC, only deployed, but it can be haphazardly fit into a ITC Shuttle.
In short, its designed for complete and utter air dominance against Quillian assets by crushing anything it finds and then radiating it with fissive products for good measure. (Much like our engineers) It does this through the usage of a Island-Alloy frame, a laser based chain weapon, Nuclear Ordinance, and a fusion boosted nuclear RamJet controlled by a remote operator.
Quillus will introduce non-ground assets to bomb our nuclear ground pounders. It's just a question of weather they are gonna use orbital systems or air systems, and this is hedging our bets against air assets.

This has completely revolutionized the economy, as local manufactures can produce non-specialized equipment that can cover ten times more product lines then ever before, and it is theoretically possible that such machines could supply an entire city, completely autonomously, while just requiring raw materials and reacting based upon the prediction of consumer demand.
Not only is assembly possible, but so to is disassembly, or the acquiring of feed stock. the nano robotic separation of waste and ore materials into their individual elements has revolutionized the industry of material science. ores and resources thought impossible to refine has been properly exploited, and more resources has become available to the visible strong right hand of the free market then ever before.
