Ragnar shrugs. "I figure if we're sharing one bowl of noodles then it's not a huge loss, and if I really don't like it I can just order something else. Which I figure you'd think is a good thing."

"They are boys." Ai said, deliberately using the word for 'boys' as opposed to 'men', as she joined the lot of them at the table, pulling her ear buds out and stuffing them away in her pockets as she sat down. As usual, Kamijou didn't really look like someone that bitch-slapped monsters. She'd picked a loose off-the-shoulder white blouse cinched at the waist with a pinky-thin black belt and black skin-fit pants with pockets.

"I happen to like extremely spicy foods. Is there a problem with that? I assume the recipe other than the spice level is up to his usual standards."

Ragnar just kind of waves to Ai. He didn't think this was going to be that big of a deal to Maki and was starting to regret trying something new.

"Eh, you're making this out to be way more of a big deal than it actually is, Sparki. I like spicy food and Raggy said he does too. Why's it gotta be more complicated than that? Or, wait...", Yamato raises an eyebrow at Maki, "You're not projecting or anything, are you?"

"Maki's a little afraid of the noodles."

Maki blushes. She's cornered.
"....n-no, I'm not projecting! W-why would I be projecting? N-no way!"

"Now, now, Yamato, what Maki looks at in the privacy of her own room is her own business, there's no need to shame her for it."

Kiyo is one of the last people to arrive, partly because they had labwork to excuse herself from and partly because she nervously triple-checked that she had the right location before entering. She broke out into a wide smile as she recognized everyone else and hopefully they recognized her too. She wasn't wearing all of the armour and jets that she had in battle, but instead had on a plain skirt and shirt combo. If it wasn't for the length and the gloves she was wearing it would be wholly unremarkable.

"Hello everyone! I'm not too late, am I?"

Maki just.....silently glares at Ito without a single word and a light dusting of red on her cheeks.

Yamato raises his hands in mock surrender.
"I'm not judging, I'm not judging. Just wonderin' why that was the first thing you thought of, is all."
He notes Kiyo's arrival and waves her over, and, seeing that Maki wasn't going to welcome her, takes on the task himself.
"Nah, the good doctor hasn't arrived yet, you're fine. Sit down wherever you want, Sparki's too busy trying to kill Goldie with her mind to stop you even if she did want to."
