Amelie, with Haruko in tow, has grabbed... perhaps entirely too many sweets, before she heads over to the others. "Well... shortest one first I guess? W-We... didn't find anything. There was a guy hiding in a bush and talking about mole people. I think he was just crazy, not related to what we were there for."

Ragnar sits down with his drink and snack at the table silently. He takes a long drink....
A really long drink...
A really, really long drink...
Finally he stops and sets down his drink.
"So, I'm pretty sure that there's some kind of, _{Horrible, slimey,} snake monster in the tunnels. On account of me talking to one of the patients about anything weird that's been going on and her saying that she thinks she saw a snake late at night. So uh, I'm willing to bet there's a snake zoanthrope. Or maybe some kind of legless lizard one..."

Yamato is uninterested in the fitness-ruining devilry of the cafe, and simply sits down at the table, one hand in his pocket all the while.

He takes the Mystery Orb out of his pocket and places it gently on the table.
"I got this. It was lying around in the parking lot. Don't know what it does, but I'm told there's info inside."
He shrugs.
"There's also some weird interference around the hospital, not sure if any of you felt it. 'sides that, I got nothing."

Ragnar makes a small "hm" noise at the Mystery orb. After a moment he reaches out, stopping just short of touching it. Then a spike emerges from his finger, made of his constructs, which he uses to poke at the orb, if only to see if it has any reaction at all.

"I mean, he was looking for tunnels, and we found tunnels. He wasn't THAT crazy."

The orb glows at the point of contact, but does nothing when Ragnar touches it. You have the vague sense of having completely wasted the last two seconds in having done so.

"So, to correlate." Ai begins, watching the orb with mild interest. "This orb - in the parkinglot, an eyewitness account of a so-called snake, tunnels under the hospital according to Mister Hideyuki and the administration is asking for increased security courtesy of the Eden Foundation. Did I miss anything?"

Ragnar stares at the orb. Then in a quick movement he brings it to his mouth and licks it, as one does when trying to figure out what they have been presented with.

It glows at the point of contact and tastes lightly of steel and ice. Again, you feel as if your time has been utterly and completely wasted.

Yamato snorts.
”...well, that’s one way to check this thing. Did ya figure anything out?”

Ragnar looks thoughtful for a few seconds before nodding.
"Well, going off tastes this uses Ice and Earth magics. Was there anything else you noticed about it?"

Yamato blinks in surprise, before shrugging again. Some people's powers just worked weird. Wasn't the guy's fault, probably.
"...Agatha did mention it kinda touching her mind? Only a little bit, but yeah. That's the only other thing that I can think of."

Ragnar stares at Yamato for a few seconds before sighing. He really would have liked it if he'd been informed of that before he liked the darn thing.
"Oh, in that case I'll just..."
Ragnar covers the orb in his constructs and tries channeling a simple message into it. That message being "Hello.".

"Maybe you should eat it? The last time I ate something magical-looking I got sun powers."

"I don't think eatting it would be a good idea. Or at least not for now," Kiyo comments. "We should be focusing on preparing to investigate the tunnels and deal with whatever Zoanthropes we can find. The orb can always wait until afterwards."
