Ai wasn't treating this situation as the dire straits combat that it was. In fact, as she rolled up at a casual stroll and gave a soldier busy firing at Ito a lazy smack to the back of the head (with all the force of a speeding tanker truck) it was with a cassual easy bordering on contempt. This pattern held as she, with a sharp exhale, seemed to explode outwards with sheer force of personality. A otherworldly weight falling onto everyone present as the arena extends once again. "Feel free to retreat and regroup." She suggested, lazily throwing a back-hand worthy of a pimp and a following reversal into a bitch-slap in the direction of the troopers trying to lift the Zoanthrope. Followed by a lazy flurry of blows, fast enough to blurr, in some kind of nonchalant mock-shadowboxing. Somehow hitting the soldiers around the Zoanthrope (and likely a few unfortunate ones that happened to be nearby) even though she never actually touched them. "I'm going to be cleaning these up anyway."

One willpower to reroll worldline.

The blast wave rocks Kiyo side to side, despite her increased weight, but she tries to correct as best as she can. With the bat swarms bearing down on her, her diffuse beam cannon continues to fire despite the disruption.

What a mess. Rushing right into a group of gun-toting robots as a swordsman and leaving their most injured with so little support... He'd thought Sun Crow quite the bird-brain, but it seemed he wasn't that much better when it counted. At least somebody was around who could deal with this.

"You have fun with that, Yen-Girl."

For now, Yamato goes on the defensive, readying to dodge and counter when possible. He makes sure to watch Goldie's back too. The guy's strength wasn't as overwhelming as Yamato had hoped, but it was still way more physical force than he himself could put behind any sword swing.

Alter to 6, burn 5 for Prediction Cut.

Ragnar walks over to the edge of the building with Maki. He stares at the Zoanthrope, his expression unreadable. With a sigh he turns to the woman.
"You know, I have to give it points for effort... But it's going to suck to recover from this next bit."
With that he climbs up onto the edge of the building, and hops off. As he falls he considers that maybe he should have asked if her friends could assist with him not hitting the ground so hard. Well, no use in asking now he supposed. He pulls his shield in front of him and gets ready to stab into the zoanthrope with his spear. While he does this, he starts sending his constructs to expand the shield so that if the Zoanthrope tries blasting him again it wouldn't be as effective. When he was about to meet the Zoanthrope head on, he'd stab down with his spear, either aiming for the beast's mouth if it was open or otherwise striking out at it's eyes or possibly even it's ears if it's head was turned the right way.

December barely acknowledges the new reinforcements. The clock was ticking, and nothing would get in the way of his deliveries - not even some metal-heads with toy laser guns. He felt his wounds sting, but the dumpling house mantra rang in his ears, drowning out the pain.
30 minutes or it's free! 30 minutes or it's free!
He imagined his boss as a dragon breathing fire behind him as he barrelled toward the new set of soldiers, aiming to only disable them and move on to higher priorities.
He zigzagged his movement to throw off their aim, and flying towards them in a leap, sent forward a powerful shockwave through the air towards the group of soldiers.

December uses Shockwave to knock the soldiers out and disable their weapons if possible.

Well this is going to get hairy fast. This really wasn't his forte, but Ito fights on anyway.

Maki pulls herself to her feet, running over to the end of the roof to see where the Zoanthrope had gotten to.

She quickly figures out what to do. The pain was clouding her mind a little, but she forces herself to see through it.

Hospital. Bat was fleeing towards it. She could get to it fast if she tried. Haruko and Amelie were faster, but she needed something to keep it from running.

Okay. Maki could do this.
"Alright. Haruko, keep the Zoanthrope away from the hospital! Lead the target, fire ahead at him! Not too big a blast, if you can try. Remember, arm cannon! Amelie, I'm going to need you to boost me. I think I can finish him off. Once that guy hits, I'm going to finish this if we can. You guys got this!"

"Arm cannon. . .? Oh, right." The device had been stowed in a pocket (skirts with pockets, yiss); she reached inside and slapped it onto her arm, where it folded outward into the shape it had originally taken before it was disabled by being jostled about. "This is a little weird, but let's see. . ." She pointed the end directly at the Zoanthrope, bracing it with her other hand, and firing a massive beam of plasma where she thought it might be moving.

This was getting bad. While her training was more specialized against groups than against single powerful targets, they were always done under the assumption that she would have a screening force to keep aggressors occupied... She had a choice in whether to support her allies or protect herself; and sadly she is too badly wounded to make the choice obvious, she'd be little help dead or crippled after all...

A compromise then, maybe? Launching her attackers at those keeping her allies pinned? Simple enough, just splice the spell for ground spikes with her normal self-catapult one... But first, she regards Spica.

"Hey, can you heal?.. My defenses can't take much more..."

Catapult at least some of the group attacking me at the groups suppressing Yamato and Ito, ask Spica for a heal.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Now Playing: The cyborg fights]
Given your condition, this is a desperate fight indeed. Ito attempts to concentrate under the barrage of fire, trying to keep his cool-

Then his Makai Armor wears off, pieces returning to the unknown locale where they were stored.

Shit.

Two laser blasts nail Ito straight in the gut, sending him staggering back. He lashes out with his sword, managing to remember his training as he falls back, but his sword is thrown wide and clips only two of the soldiers. The dust softens the blow, just a little. In that moment, the troops begin to aim their shots at Ito, now vulnerable from lack of armor, guns trained on where they believed him most vulnerable; his wounded gut, his head, his arms.

Big mistake.

Sato cleaves the arms off of two more robots that decided to look away from him for one single second, his sword having been prepared for a defensive strike, waiting for the opportune moment. They were robots, yes, but Sato was quicker, he was skilled, and he knew right where to cut. Disabled, the two robots simply stand there, unable to do very much as their arms crash to the ground, shattered by Sato's attack. The robots turn back to Sato, shooting, but he deflects their blasts with his sword, easily.

He hasn't quite finished dealing with the remainder of the robots, however and one blast scorches Sato's arm, the robots not intimidated nor hindered by their brethren being taken down.

This situation looks desperate.

Or it would be if it wasn't for the fact that Kamijou Ai was here.

[Now Playing: Ai Override ~Bow~]
Suddenly, the troopers around Sato and Ito are swept away by sheer force as Ai makes her grand entry, walking in without a care in the world. Two of the soldiers attempting to extract the Zoanthrope are smashed to pieces by what appears not to even be a physical hit, but a shockwave, her hands lazily waving around as if she were swatting flies rather than robots. The remainder attempt to train their guns on Ai, taking aim-

Agatha decides that the best way to deal with things is to use her capabilities to throw her assailants back. Spikes of asphalt smash into the robots from below, most of their shots bar two flying wide as they are thrown back into the remaining robots, causing them to explode. The scorch marks on Agatha's body, however, begin to fade away with a translucent pink light as Spica, having mostly recovered her composure, heals her wounds.

There was still one last robot, however. Picking up the Zoanthrope like a groom would pick up their bride, they intend to make a hasty retreat, not bothering to go on the offense. It seems their mission was only to retrieve the Zoanthrope; attacking you was necessary only to fulfil that goal.

Will you let it so easily do that?

Meanwhile....
Kaede Aisaka was troubled. Very, very much troubled.

She'd ordered dumplings for thirty minutes from now from the nice dumpling house nearby. This had been her habit on Friday nights; sit in, work on her private activities while enjoying some nice, fresh hot dumplings. They were scrumptious, delicious; the Kisaragi steaks were the only thing that could compare. Some Fridays, they were the best thing to look forward to; being a teacher at Kaname Academy, Miss Aisaka could get a little stressed. She thinks about her students for a second; ever since that attack on Touto National Garden several days ago, she'd been concerned about her students. She knew they'd gotten out okay, but still. And there was that other thing she was following, but that could be talked about another time.

There was Kisaragi's granddaughter; a nice girl, watched out for her classmates, was always a friendly young girl, and she was even a violinist. She'd really be a model student if it wasn't for her average grades and her occasional habit of making waves and picking fights with certain troublemakers. There was Akiyama; sometimes, she wondered how that girl's habits were, given she spent so much time in class nodding off. She wondered if she wasn't one of those people who went around following heroes all night, looking for stories to sell and pictures to pawn. There was Hanazawa; he was a quiet boy, quiet ever since the Arima girl left school. She'd heard it was to get treatment at the University Hospital down the road. Poor girl; she really deserved better than that, given what she'd heard about her condition from her parents. She also sometimes wondered what became of Endo, Kisaragi's friend; she'd seen her, several days ago, at the park before the Zoanthrope attacked, the first since she'd moved to Seito. She was an average student, but a well-behaved one, and she could rein in Kisaragi. She could go all day thinking about the other students; Midoriya, Aino, Kinomoto, Kazuraba, Sakura....

Miss Aisaka loved her class and everyone in it, all in all, even if some of them (especially Kisaragi and Sakura) were troublemakers sometimes.

Then there was the other thing Kaede Aisaka did-

Suddenly, a shockwave blasts through her windows, shards of glass scattering all over the papers she was studying. She shields herself with an arm, squinting to see what had happened outside.

Outside, what looked like several robots had been smashed to pieces, ground into the asphalt by what seemed like sheer, utter force, probably what blew her windows in. And then there was the delivery boy, standing right in the middle of it all.

Well, he looked like the delivery boy from the dumpling house, but a lot leaner, a lot more muscular; he was usually rather plump. He didn't stop to enjoy his victory, as he ran down the street, presumably back to the dumpling house.

She blinks briefly, a look of surprise on her face; not from the robots, but from the fact that the delivery boy she'd gotten slightly familiar with was a superhero also.

Kaede Aisaka shrugs, before sitting back down at her desk, case files peering up at her. She was, after all, moonlighting one of those amateur detectives so popular in Touto nowadays; it paid good money, just as good as teaching. And it helped keep her students safe; that mattered the most of all.

However, now would be a good time for some dumplings. Those windows would need replacing.

Yamato hisses in pain as the blast burns his arm. Injuries just kept piling on, didn't they? He gets ready to retaliate, one arm or not, and then-

They're blown away. He wasn't paying attention earlier, but he can appreciate the utter absurdity of Yen-Girl's physical strength now. Was it even possible for someone to be naturally that strong, to have that overwhelming presence? But it didn't really matter, at this point. After all, despite that strength, one of those robots was still trying to get away.

Let it get away easily? After that fight?

Not a chance.

"Spica, slow it down!"

Have Spica use Assist to bar the last robot's standing movement, burn a 3 for Cut The Distance Between.

Absolute Counter Trigger
I Am Your Opponent Trigger
Seeking Whom She May Devour Trigger

"All yours, Sir."

Ai wasn't even watching the robot, she'd turned on the spot, and yet a force like an invisible lasso around the troopers ankle would be wrenching it back towards her. And towards Sato as he came running towards it. Falling onto your foes blade usually wasn't so literal.

Kamijou had already moved on, as if the fate of the trooper was a foregone conclusion, and was walking over and (shockingly gently, considering the already demonstrated strength) helped Agatha onto her feet. "Everything alright, miss? Didn't hurt anything important?" her tone was polite, courteous even, but not quite impersonal.

[{3} 4 3 4 5 5 5 4 1 2]

(Ai is referring to Sato as "Bushi-Dono" a term referring to someone of the noble-warrior class. Not necessarily a title of respect so much as calling a Knight 'Sir' out of minimum courtesy. Similarly, Agatha is "Ue-san" the same as Spica.)

"Thanks. And I'll be fine, worst that could've happened is me dying after all. That was a bit more crazy then I was expecting though. Thank you for the assist, that likely would've been a lot closer if you didn't help."

A quick stirring up of dirt and dust is done to reapply her usual nigh-omnipresent security barrier... After all, it was burnt out by massed fire.... Maybe she should spend time to master some proper heavy defensive spells in the near future?...

December sensed the windows breaking as he continued to run, and realised that he might have hit the robots a tad too hard. Through it, he sensed one of their customers, Mrs Aisak as well. Damn it, he was getting into more a mess, wasn't he? No time to apologise, though - he had a greater purpose!
He skidded to a stop at the dumpling shop, a small corner restaurant placed inconspicuously at the first floor of an apartment. It was humbly titled Yoon's Kitchen and gentle lights made the dumpling shop look homely to many who had visited the shop. It was especially popular to tired businessmen who desired a place of solace after a busy and stressful day, and those who didn't visit easily ordered them from across the city.
But when December arrived, he could feel nothing of the humble coziness - instead, he felt an aura of pure sinister darkness emanating out from the shop. He had barely stepped into the shop when the plate of dumplings were half-thrown into his arms.
The source of the terror hissed at him from inside the small kitchen at the back of the shop, dripping with venom. "You will pay... once you return..."
Shivering, December saluted and sprinted out back toward his first delivery, which would be Mrs. Aisaka.

Amelie doesn't say anything, just flies right next to Maki, picks her up in her gravity field, flies around to maximize momentum, and then launches her friend at the zoanthrope at max speed.
