"Just to make sure it didn't pull any tricks to survive. Zoanthropes are slippery little beasts. I think you'd know, from your tone."
She sighs, lowering her hands to her sides, looking over at the group and smiling sweely.
"So, I see you've met my partner, Lapis. Nice to meet you all. The name's Spica, and I'm a magical girl who hunts Zoanthropes. I hear you fought one earlier?"

Cancelling her half-ready spell, Agatha nods to Amelie.

"Well. That was simple?... Although I really only had the whale as a comparison... Hmm..."

Afterwards, she uses her magic to mend the street... No reason to just leave it broken, after all.

"I did fight this thing alone for about ten minutes. Still, thanks for finishing it off for me. You have no idea how hard it is to get from Kinomoto Bridge all the way to here."

"They did."

He shrugs. "From the look of it it was a pretty hard-fought victory."

"Alright, Lapis also told me you....brought them back with you. Do you mind if I take a look at them? I've been hunting these things down since they first attacked Japan, and, well, this is a really big thing if they're actually people and all."

"As long as you don't cause any trouble." He shrugs. He'd keep an eye on her while she was there, so it's unlikely.

Spica walks into Ito's house, Lapis following behind her feet.
It is good to know you're okay, partner. I assume you aren't hurt?
"I'll be fine, Lapis. These guys take good care of you?"
I can take care of myself, Spica. Do not worry.

Yamato looks on as the Zoanthrope is practically instantly defeated. His eyes narrow for just a moment. He sighs, and runs his hand through his hair.
"I got all worried, too, with how fast Lapis made that thing sound..."
He wasn't quite sure why he felt as disappointed as he did. At least Lapis' partner was no longer a mystery. He makes his way back to Ito's house, returning to his regular clothes along the way.
"Say, Lapis. Don't suppose there are more Zoanthropes around that shouldn't be able to get here that quickly?"

None within the city. You can rest assured.
Spica, meanwhile, looks around the living room.
"I assume they're in a bedroom, right? If you wouldn't mind, could you point me to it?"

Hideyuki shrugs. "Follow me."

He heads inside, then back to the guest rooms, entering the one where he'd put the Zoanthrope before.

Spica nods quietly at him.
"Thank you."
She walks in behind him, her eyes resting on the girl. For a moment, something flickers across her face, something unreadable, something unknown.

Another moment passes. She looks over at Hideyuki.
"......are you sure she's the Zoanthrope?"

"That's the Zoanthrope, yes. Why?"

Spica pauses, examining the girl closely, a frown on her face as she looks over the girl again. Her mouth moves, as if she's saying something under her breath, but Ito doesn't hear it. All he can see is a vague flicker of dismay and.....recognition? on her face as she pores over the girl again.

She tries to muster a smile again as she turns back towards Ito.
".......do you mind if I take her off your hands? She doesn't look good, and I think I can fix her up. Maybe she can tell you something about how Zoanthropes are made when she's better."

"Only if you tell me what that girl means to you. In any case, it may just be a disguise to fool us, it's entirely possible it'd be better to just kill it."

Spica doesn't look shocked at Ito stopping her. She simply frowns.
"She's important to me, and I would prefer if you didn't ask why. Here and now, at least.

Lapis told me you were attacked, as soon as you left the park. If that's true, I have to be careful what I reveal to people I've just met, because whoever attacked you might be listening. Surely you can understand that."
