Samir Mark 1 Packet Rifle
The Samir Mk.1 is a straight pull smokeless powder bolt action rifle making use of an unique packet system. Due to worries with the many issues spring magazines can cause Samir looked to our revolver rifle and made a 7 round 'packet'. The packet is surprisingly close to a revolver and let's use make ue of our experience from our last rifle. The packet is fed into the rifle from the slightly downwards pointing side gate and make use of a V shaped cut out to help the user properly insert it. While heavier and some what more awkward then a stripper clipper the packet offers more rounds and is much more reliable in feeding the rifle. In the off chance of a jam the rifle its also easier to clear.
The straight pull bolt is fairly simple making us of just some grooves in the bolt and some nubs in the receiver to cam the bolt. Unlike a turn bolt which block the sights when it's vertical the straight pull bolt lets the solider keeps his sights on his target. To improve on this feature the bolt is somewhat more forward then most bolt action rifles to let the user keep his cheek well when operating the weapon, at the cost of a small amount of barrel length.
The whole weapon is built around a new .25x2.25 inch spitzer round making use of smokeless powder. Taking average of the extra velocity the powder can give the bullet has a excellent muzzle velocity. This lets our soldiers hit targets at extreme range with much greater ease and, the lower recoil of the round lets the user make full user of the straight pull bolt to get multiple round on target in a short time span. While the .25 caliber round does have lower stopping power then a larger round it's still preform very well thanks to a mix of cavitation from it's high velocity and, the habit of the bullet to 'tumble' once it hits. 

Straight pull bolt offer a much better rate of fire in the hands of an average solider and have being in service for nearly a decade. The packet system help us avoid the must get a 6 issue of a true magazine. Also we can revise the rifle with a detachable magazine once we get that from a light machine gun or the like.

.305 Reseph-Vizier Series 1 Service Rifle: The .305 Reseph-Vizier Series 1 Service rifle is a bolt action rifle that utilizes a new kind of powder that, when fired, produces much much less smoke and has much more power. It also has mountings for something, if we make it in the future, and best of all, it most likely can out range the Karikhitans. Unfortunately we where unable to figure out how to make it hold more bullets having spent most of our time working on the new powder, which can be used on our other rifle as well. However we feel as if that isn't much of an issue seeing how far we got already. Its rate of fire is about the same as the Karikhitans rifle, but with everything else the gun has, we feel like we should be fine.

Its now the revision phase, the Pharaoh is very pleased with your progress.

Carrera Powder
Carrera Powder is a new powder to replace our existing black powder. It doesn't produce smoke beyond small puff and produces significantly more energy than black powder, but at the same time retains the low-scale burn and easy of ignition making it ideal as a propellant.
