The CIA suspects zombies. They can't blow the place up however, as the apartment building is in the middle of a crowded neighbourhood. So instead, they are sending the D team, you, with flamethrowers to cleanse the place.
Your Primary Objective is to sterilize the area. Secure and contain the threat of a pathological outbreak.
Your Secondary Objectives are to gather samples and rescue any civilians that might still be in the building.
If possible, determine the cause of the outbreak.
The authorities are still nervous about arming class D personnel, however an acceptable compromise has been reached: You now have access to single-shot break action super-comanche pistols! They take both .45 long colt pistol rounds and .41 shotshells without needing any barrel change or modification!
Every prisoner will be issued one free of charge, but ammo is sold separately at $1 a round, marked up because you lack choices. The Super-comanche also phases out the pneumatic nailgun.
You guys also receive an extra 50 bucks in pocket money. There's no bonus pay this time because you didn't manage to bring back loot from your last mission.
Other mission equipment would include a couple of flamethrowers with 20 litre tanks. This gives them all of 4 shots.
You also get hazmat suits, for all the good it'll do. They're nothing fancy, just modified early 20th century boilersuits sealed with rubber with a self-contained air-supply. We're not expecting the contagion to be airborne, but the CIA wants you to dress up to show the public how seriously they are treating the issue.
