You might seem to think you are being limited in your ability to manipulate things right now, and you are absolutely correct. It will pick up after a few turns have passed.

Updates to some mechanics and terminology:

Time: A full turn is about a month. Sub-turns are between a day and a week, depending on how long these actions are supposed to take.

Exhausted: If you fall below 0 CP, you are in a vulnerable state. You will not be able to perform acts, and any physical interaction will have a penalty to rolls. It you do not reach positive CP by the end of the turn, your total CP will be returned to 0 and you will be forced to rest. If you get too far negative, I will have to hurt you.

Hibernate: When all players agree to, you may enter a deep slumber that lasts many years. This automatically levels everyone up a full level (those who have a head start will keep that head start) and fully restores the CP of all characters to double their threshold.

I'm gathering that each deity can only act in one sub-turn per turn.

Nope, you can perform as many acts and/or actions as your CP will allow you per turn/sub-turn.
