1714. I was on a roll, but I started late and need sleep. Nonetheless, it begins.

1212 words so far and only a vague idea of where to go at this point in the story.  This is going to be a massive challenge considering I'm also a GM and player in a set of active online RPGs that previously took up much of my free time.

Two days of goal-exceeding in a row. I think this is the best I've ever done in NaNoWriMo.

Getting words out is like drawing blood from a stone the last few days. Hopefully I get back in the swing of things or I really have no chance at this.

Third day, broke 5k on schedule.

I've found that doing this NaNoWriMo thing, "word sprints", drastically increases my writing pace. I normally write 1k/hr but doing those I average 400/10 minutes. It's basically just a contest of "who can write the most in this period of time".

Edit: Annd now I've cracked 7k, so I'm ahead. Gonna try to get a good lead on this. I am already doing soooo much better than last year.

I'm at around 4K words now when I need to hit 10K today to stay on target.  I've been falling further and further behind every day. 

I can't write unless I have privacy, which I really don't most of the day.  And when I do have some privacy, I'm usually extremely busy or extremely sleepy.  I really should have known better than to try this.

Still, I'll see it through to the end of the month.  However far I get, I get.

Power outage combined with a long shift at work killed any shot at writing today.

And so my slide into failure begins...

Shockingly enough I'm on three consecutive days of being a full day or more ahead. Going soooo much better than last year, I might finish early as opposed to at 11:30 PM November 30th after writing 9k in one day.

I finally hit the daily word target and then some yesterday, but I'm still over 5,000 words short of the target for today.  I should have a little more time than usual tonight, so I need to make the best of it.

Mid point is today, and I'm doing better than I thought I would be.  I'm only behind about 3,000 words from the overall target of 25,000 total.  I think I'm going to make it after all.

300 words short of the goal - should break 25k today.

Just validated at 50,177 words, two whole days early. Anyone else still going?

Sorry I haven't posted much this year, it's been busier than usual for me.

Still trying every day, though I plateaued around 14000, at the end of my first act. I've only got a bit every day since then.
