Heart Grasp: The ability to reach into the physical world in such a way as to grasp the heart of a living thing, if physically close enough. This can be used to harm, or to leave behind a fragment of our own essence in the creature's heart.

Naaaah, we can see where the spirits are, that's a good enough start I think.

You have chosen to gain a heart reaching power, that you named Heart Grasp. Whilst grasping the heart does not seem to work properly at the moment, you quickly have come to learn that if you wait at frequently visited places you can pass on some of your essence to an unsuspecting. While it takes a while to mature, a mortal being with your essence carries your scent and you can always find it. It also becomes more visible to you, though still only in vague figures.

This is where it becomes interesting as you can harvest attained greed later on, from these vessels. They fulfill a strengthening role. This is the first gateway into the soul of such a mortal. The problem is there is not many mortal humans within a forest. You might consider looking for powerful breeding areas for certain types of animals.

Still +1ing squirrels for established reasons. Open to branching out into other hoarding animals. Magpies would be good.
