"Uh... Have you heard of "time travel"?
((Time travel is possible but not in the way you think. This is not PM3, Aleksandra is not Homura. I suggest you not try it.))
"...Maybe I can wish to have second wish granted later on, whenever I want to?"
((As Pumsy said, this is functionally impossible. Don't try it.))
"...I can't wish for extra wishes can I?"
"...Or maybe, wishing I had made my wish this morning, before we entered labyrinth? ...Maybe I can I wish I had wished this morning that no one would die during labyrinth?"
((This is just getting absurd. Good roleplaying!))
"I want to be.. a werewolf."
((This would function, and might even have a positive result if made with good intentions and worded well. GM stamp of approval, because either way I'll find the result fun and entertaining.))
"Or, um, I dunno, maybe wish that everyone had a house, or something."
"Or, um, I dunno, maybe wish that everyone had a house, or something."
((Boring as hell. Also, would fail, that's
a lot of frigging houses. Oh, and I quoted this twice, because apparently you type [glow=red,
1,200]. The second version is the default [glow=
red,2,300], the default; does
anyone actually see any differece between those two quotes? I don't.))
"Maybe wish we all had indestructible bodies?"
((Functional, but wouldn't work as well as you want. I don't recommend it.))
"Or that we all were super strong and powerful?"
((You already have CC, you know. You'd get some result from this, but I don't recommend it.))
"So, maybe we could wish our gems were unbreakable."
((Won't work as well as you want, and will only really help if you do poorly and not terribly, but you're screwed regardless in the latter case, and do you really expect to do
well? Probably a better wish than either of the last two.))
((Irrelevant: I think it was stated in the previous rule change that magical girls have some vague innate understanding about how abilities like telepathic communication and totem manipulation work. Does anyone remember if this applies for all abilities even if you don't have them, only the ones you have or only the default ones that everyone has?))
((I thought I replied to this? Apparently not. Well, MGs can use their powers naturally on an intuitive level, but they don't start with instant, concrete knowledge on exactly how their powers work. Precisely how intuitive their powers are varies; some might just naturally
get when to do things, and always see positive results, while other might
have to struggle through repeated experimentation and accidents. It depends largely on what you feel like role-playing. I might even refund some of the cost for learning, if you write something entertaining and believable.))
"[...] maybe for all of us to be better at making and keeping friends. I'm.. not good at that."
((Don't you fucking dare.))
"Maybe.. a weapon, then? How about a tank that can fold up into a briefcase, and back into a tank?"
((I like this one though. It'd work, kinda, though the exact utility of a tank could vary a
lot depending on how you use it.))
"Or maybe.. wish that when magical girls die, their families won't feel despair, but know that their family member had been doing something good?"
((DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!))
((Does anyone have any ideas other than wishing to make Alida a werewolf?))
((Try for something that isn't an always-enabled buff, that takes clear physical form, and which adds to the world rather than removing challenges or strengthening already-existing effects. The first because it helps prevent me forgetting things and avoids difficulty just scaling; I have to consciously
decide how difficult an action is, and how capable you are, so it's easier to remember that you're 20% stronger than normal because you just activated a power two turns ago, rather than because you made a wish for that two years ago. Clear physical form adds to that, because if I'm always describing the effects, I
will remember to factor it in when deciding what happens; this is why "make me a werewolf" is better than just "let me toggle on superstrength". Finally, the last point is because in general wishes that
remove challenges and notable things from the world make for a boring and uninteresting story.
Saying "This person used to have a problem, but now they don't" is barely better than saying "This person exists", and that's a shit story.))
((Also, wishes have a finite amount of power, and that power can be diluted--and can be wasted. If you wish for one AK-47, you will get one AK-47. If you wish for ten AK-47s, you will get ten AK-47s. If you wish for a million AK-47s, you will get a million LEGO AK-47s. If you want to powergame, wish for something that's vauge enough to scale up well, and not spread out so much that the result will be inconsequential. Being clever and interesting helps too, when I think a wish will result in a more interesting story if it's a bit stronger than it otherwise should be, I'll just go with the stronger, more interesting version.))
((I'm not sure if it would be too meta, but what about wishing for extra levels?))
((Cosmologically I suppose there's nothing wrong with this, but it'd be relatively weak and it's boring as hell.))
((Wish to be a rich and happy adult with lots of people to help and support them. Then buy everyone guns. Lots of guns.))
((Actually, not bad at all. Happy would probably fail, but the rest... Well, if nothing else
I'd find it fun.))
