Sasha is, at first, slightly confused because of lacking telepathy and being unable to hear the others. She then understands what's happening and follows Asha while thinking about how cool it would be to communicate with mind powers like that.

Everyone confers quickly for several seconds, before agreeing to hide from whatever is following them.  They split in two different directions, Tooru leaping to the left, landing in a low crouch and immediately flattening herself against the ground, carefully watching the bomb from a short distance away, while Asha and Alida rush off to the right, with Aleksandra just behind them.  Mina is the only one who hesitates, looking down at the clear path that the fleeing trio left in the deep ashes in their hurried retreat.  They haven't been making much sound, whatever is following them most likely just followed their tracks.

The green girl steps up onto the bomb, concentrating on the tracks her friends left, and the surrounding ashy terrain.  It's a simple surface, just uneven heaps of powder, and replicating its optical properties is a simple matter; after just a moment of concentration, her magic flows out over the tracks and creates a series of small piles over the tracks, concealing them flawlessly.  Her job done, she leaps over towards Tooru, landing just short of the redhead before dropping prone and almost entirely covering herself with ash.

None of the girls have to wait long before their pursuer steps into view.  It's a clay woman, aside from gender identical to the clay man on the boat, down to the tacky top hat, tuxedo, and glass tie.  She's smiling, and carrying a shovel over one shoulder.  She walks along the tracks calmly yet quietly, appearing not to have to have a care in the world, up until she reaches the bomb, and the end of the tracks.  She stops in place, then robotically bends over at the waist, the rest of her body locked in position, like a statue.  She holds that position for several seconds, her eyes not even looking at the bomb, before straightening up again.

The familiar then starts turning in place, carefully rotating herself to examine her surroundings.  She looks past Mina and Tooru without seeing anything, then rotates past Alida and her two charges on the other side, at which point they stop holding their breath.  They all wait for a little while, expecting the clay woman to do something more, but she just stays there, continually turning in place and waiting.

Mina frowns when she realizes it won't be leaving soon.  Her illusion is very simple to maintain, but it is slowly draining her.  And if she leaves, or dispels it, the woman will see the tracks the others left behind.  She telepathically explains that to her companions, not quite sure what to do just yet.

((I had a dream about y'all discovering a new system in the game: enchantable / summonable vehicles.  It was basically a Perplexicon-esque system, where there were a bunch of symbols which described various vehicle parts, dangerous elements, and transportation methods, which could be slotted into a magical circle that had been found below some abandoned mansion.  During the dream, people created a flying tank which could recharge while driving along clouds, an ultrafast adamantine dunebuggy with a laser gatling gun, and a (somehow) rideable greathammer that had a rocket instead of a metal block at the end, powerful enough to send the entire thing flying along with its wielder.  I was quite eager to watch people experiment with it and start summoning a fleet of insane and cool vehicles to fight witches with.

Sadly, this system doesn't actually exist, and wouldn't exactly fit the game (personal adamantine fighter jets with homing antimatter missiles, all for free, would screw with the balance a tad)... but I really want to make the system anyway.))

That sounds... somewhat intriguing? And might fit slightly in Refine? Maybe some kind of lost technology that could be recovered and exploited.
My setting allows me to handwave all kind of magical things that don't fit with the normal magic as just being technology. It's pretty great. :V
