ROUND 1, TURN 2
Climb into the Gundam's cockpit. If someone tries to shoot me, demonstrate how to properly dodge a bullet with my Education skill.
Expecting the greatest possible amount of resistance, Enemy Post scrambles into the cockpit of the Gundam, narrowly dodging some sort of prize whizzing past his head!
As he tries to power up the Gundam, however, he hears a mechanical voice saying "Startup sequence halted. Operator not recognized."
Then, he hears an explosion as the Gundam starts to tip over, hurtling for the ground!
Assuming I'm young enough, act natural so that the students don't notice anything's amiss. Once the heat's off a little, stride over to the professor's desk and peek in the drawers. If he's anything like a Call of Cthulhu-type scholar, he'll keep a revolver or some other handgun in one of the cabinets.
If I can't blend in as a student, blend in as the substitute instead, teaching the class about Communism and Socialism. That's humanities, right?
The students really don't seem to care too much about Greatness, and so he causally ducks into a nearby classroom.
[Search: 10]
Most people in this modern day and age wouldn't expect a college professor to have a gun. Looks like Greatness found the one professor who still actually brings a gun to their classes.
[+Astra 400]
Scowling holding his shoulder with a fierce growl on their counteance. This coulden't do this was abominable! This was terrible!
Rip some of my clothes and make a bandage. Kick the step ladder away with a well aimed soccer kick. Kick the fool closest to getting in the cockpit with my award. He will suffer.
[Strength: 5 - 2 (Pain)]
Despite their best efforts, AbstractTraitorHero is unable to tear away any clothing to make a bandage!
They still, however, dash outside in a valiant attempt to protect their precious Gundam!
[Kicking: 5 - 2 (Pain)]
Their foot connects with the stepladder, but it barely shudders and fails to fall over.
[5 - 2 (Pain) v. 4]
And they just barely miss Enemy Post before he can enter the cockpit! Overall, a bad time to AbstractTraitorHero.
"If I can't have the gundam, then no one can!"
Reload my gun. Then apply my Engineering expertise to identify a flammable weak point on the gundam. Shoot that weak point, if I can.
First, GigaGiant reloads his gun. Ka-chunk.
[Engineering: 10 + 2]
He notices an exposed panel on the gundam's leg. From his superb engineering skills, GigaGiant is able to determine that there should be an energy core somewhere behind that panel!
[Shooting: 10]
As the bullets tear through the paneling, a massive explosion bursts forth, sending the Gundam a-toppling to the ground!
Shouldn't my space pirate have also made a save against Peaceful Protest?
Have my space pirate execute Puppyguard with a laser blast to the face. Congratulate him on the work that he's done so far.
If he retroactively has to save against Peaceful Protest and fails his safe, take his gun from him and kill Puppyguard myself.
Otherwise, help defend my rock-buddy (Enemy Post) by using my drone to distract GigaGiant.
Enemy Post, if you pick me up with your gundam later, I might be able to help you co-pilot and/or repair it or something, seeing as I get a bonus to robotics (a mecha counts as a robot, right?).
[Retroactive Space Pirate Resist: 1]
The space pirate, overcome with horror at what he has done to poor Puppyguard, throws down his gun and begins wailing in agony and despair! As the pirate sobs and wails, ATHATH takes this time to grab the space gun and finish off the vile anarchist!
[10]
Pressing the space gun against Puppyguard's head, ATHATH pulls the trigger, completely melting it, the floor, and several feet of rock in the process!
Puppyguard's face got liquefied by ATHATH![+Article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_George_Washington_Carver]
At the same time, ATHATH suddenly feels a burning shot of pain fly up his leg! Unable to remain stable from the shock, he falls to the ground!
Meanwhile, the SS George Washington Carver suddenly pops into existence in the Barceloneta, scaring the wits out of a group of local fishermen.
Shoot at ATHATH no one tries to distract me from my targets
[10v8]
Furious at ATHATH for stealing his kill, ziizo lets a burst of AK fire permeate ATHATH's foot, causing him to fall to the ground!
A 1 to resist? Oh well, if you can't beat things up with 'em, join 'em.
"DOWN with the Gundam, that tool of war that encourages great wars in its fiction, and a weapon unlike any other in OUR tranquil world!
Convince the other protestors to disable and unmake the Gundam, at least topple it over.
While OceanSoul is able to convince the protesters of the evils of the Gundam, they vehemently refuse to destroy it as that would be an act of violence that would surely destroy many lives in the process.
Then, as if a fog was clearing from OceanSoul's head, he no longer feels the call of nonviolence!
[No longer swept into protest]
FallacyOfUrist suddenly pops into existence in the Languages building, situated slightly to the north of the Historic and Humanities buildings. She comes equipped with two fairly dangerous looking firearms, as well as a Siberian Cat, which sits quietly at her feet. If one were to look closely, they would see that she has distinctly feline eyes, with tall slit pupils and amber irises.
