Name: Zorg
Species: Grox
Job: Spaceship engineer, with a side job of cybernetics engineer(all Grox know how to make and maintain there own bits, he does it professionally)
Age: 40
Description: (Grox pictured on the left)
The Grox are a society that is very polar, and represents Grox minds greatly, they are at most times calm, cold, and logical, it is hard to make a Grox happy, or sad, or angry, or lustful, or any emotion, but when you are successful, you will know, Grox do not hide their emotions, and they go big, when a Grox is happy, they are ecstatic, when sad, they despair, when angry, they are furious, ETC. Zorg is no different from this. He is typically very calm, but is prone to bouts of extreme emotion.
Background: Zorg was born 40.25 alliance standard years ago to a family he only knew by name, as all Grox did, in a cold(from a Grox perspective), clean(from a Grox perspective), and boring(from any perspective) facility, as all Grox did, and approximately 10.5244542(as he was informed of the time after the process) had two of his limbs, half of his brain, one of the upper two quarters of his entire head, and most of his torso(and the organs within) replaced with cold, efficient, and mostly unfeeling cybernetics. Much of his life would go on this way, cold, clean, and boring, from a Grox perspective at least. He worked in a large factory, running a machine that made spaceships. Basically everything was made in large factories on Grox worlds, (after all why wouldn't they, it took raw materials, made something useful out of them, and produced "healthy, breathable air" and "clean, hygenic sludge" in the process). Every 3 months or so(exact day variable), they would take a trip out to one of those nasty, inhospitable garden worlds, and make it a nice, cozy, polluted wasteland. Some days, he would go out to see an opera, he liked opera. It was a calm, quiet life, but it was boring, Zorg didn't like boredom, despite having been born in it. Then something happened, roughly 20.124 years ago, the Grox did the improbable, and discovered other civilizations among the stars. However, it may be more accurate to say, they were discovered, while terraforming a planet. For reasons unknown at the time, the others had taken offense to this. After some amount of blunders that neither side are all too sure about that resulted in the destruction of ships from both sides, war was declared. With it, boredom left, and things became interesting, people disagree on if it was in a good way or a bad one, but Zorg certainly knew one thing, he had more work to do than ever, and less time to actually enjoy himself. When it ended 9.5642 years later, things started to change, once again in a debatable direction, but Zorg liked it. Alliance scientists were(begrudgingly) visiting Grox worlds, and soon enough, had developed proper Grox compatible augments for surviving in habitable atmospheres. Zorg was the fifth to the cyberlab, and the third on the transport. Grudges are still held by the low and middle classes of both societies(as much as Grox society has a low class anyway), but the governments and more clear headed individuals of both the Grox empire and Galactic Alliance are pushing for friendliness between the two factions, and the potential eventual joining of the empire into the alliance.
Attributes:Strength: 4 (Useful for hanging on to dear life when the hull to your right has been breached.)
Constitution: 7 (Space sickness will be the least of your worries.)
Dexterity: 5 (Handle this plasma cutter carefully.)
Intelligence: 6 (All this space technobabble has to mean something.)
Fortitude: 3 (In space, no one can hear you scream. Except them. Just joking. Still, don't scream though.)
Luck: 3 (You are gambling your life after all.)
Traits:<Something you were born with. Or earned along the way. From disease to special resistance to allergy to preferences>
Uber-Extremophile - There are microorganisms on earth called extremophiles, which are capable of surviving things nothing else on the planet can. Grox are that to an inconceivable degree, not only are they capable of thriving in environments that would kill most other organisms instantly, but those are the ONLY places they can survive. Atmospheres that can sustain life by alliance standards are highly toxic to the Grox, without the proper augments a Grox could survive a minute in Earths atmosphere at best. The void of space is also mostly tolerable.
Life Suppressant system - A life support augment, but for Grox, on anyone else it's slow and agonizing euthanasia.
Does not compute - Grox are not very socially compatible with most Alliance species, for three reasons, first; Grox cannot feel empathy, second; Grox only have two levels of emotion, minimal, and extreme, third; Grox can not properly understand affection, and thus cannot form relationships beyond the formal level, not even platonic ones. They merely replicate it as best they can when with others. IF someone shows friendship towards a Grox, they merely do things because a friend should rather than because they reciprocate the feelings. In addition Grox have trouble understanding things like deliberate falsehoods, as Grox do not see any logic behind lying.
Mecha limbs - his right arm and left leg are better than his other ones. They also have magnetic bits in them, for scaling walls.
Skills:<The GM will fill that part. If you have requests for things you are good at, list them here.>
Special Skills:Cybernetics Engineer
Spaceship Technician
Belongings:Grox nanotools - used for working with machines and electronics on incredibly small scales
Magnetic boot - just one, for his right leg.
